Does this help with hard water stains on cars?

I bought 2 of these and both failed with in 2 weeks. The clear plastic body cracked and leaked. They also will not prevent hard water stains.

Can the filters be replaced? Or is this unit disposable?

Mine came with two filters and they're fairly robust so you can wash them.

There are 5/8 and 3/4 garden hoses, will iether size work fine?

The fittings on the hose should be the same.

Is a deeper jar and screen available?

It comes with 2 screens. No longer or deeper jar

Nice

Works great. I did have a small leak at the brass fitting. Took it apart and used pipe dope on it. Seemed to have stopped the leak. Decent size for rain water irrigation pump.

Filter as described. Ready to use when received, simply attach to the water source and to the hose. The clear sediment bowl makes it easy to see if sediment is accumulating. When disconnected it is easy to drain.
