Really great child level story. I highly recommend this for all young history buffs!

This book is very detailed and has lots of information. The comic artwork is beautiful, and while there is no gore, this book is definitely more for middle school/young high school aged students. That being said, I purchased this as a gift for my dad, who enjoys collecting WWII history and memorabilia, as he had this on a wishlist. I look forward to asking him to borrow it for when my son is old enough, as we homeschool.

Funny book format.

The "Editorial Review" says this book is a "novel" but then all the background proports to be factual, as does the "real-time" events. So which is it; Historical or a Novel? I'd buy the first but not the latter.
