Best Halva Ever
So glad I took a chance and tried this brand. It is the best! Smooth, solid and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Others I've tried usually have an over-beaten "fluffy" consistency and are too sweet so I end up throwing them out. When these 3 blocks came, I easily separated them with a large knife, cut each in half and wrapped them individually for freezing. They are rich and a little goes a long way, so a half block usually lasts a couple weeks. I prefer to eat halva cold, so keep it in the refrigerator.

This is the best quality Halva I've ever purchased. Mughe is an ethical business.
I love Mughe for their ethics and ingredient choice, along with their consistently reliable quality. I've been buying their Halva for ~10 years and usually have it shipped as gifts during Christmas. I have not encountered a better quality Halva. Many manufacturers use hydrogenated oil for greater shelf life. Mughe, on the other hand, arrives with olive oil visible in the packaging, and that's a great sign! The tin that their halva ships with is very nice as well, and I repurpose their tins as great storage containers. It's all around the best Halva product that I can think of.

Delicious but pricey
Excellent product, great taste, four stars for the price—expensive.

Yummy
Nicely packaged and the metal box keeps the halvah fresh. Three different halvahs: vanilla, pistachio, marble, each very good 👍

Bad quality
The product is very low quality, the flavor is all the same, very high in sugar, textur is hard and it looked old, the oils were separating in the tin box. Value for money is not worth it. Not a good product

Nice to try, but the packaging made us worry...
I've had halvah before, and was excited to try out some nice alternative flavors. To start with, the one with the visible nuts in it was our favorite, and the other two were pretty similar to each other - I didn't really notice any "Marble Chocolate" in the one at all... Really, this wasn't much of a variety as it was just a fairly typical halvah trio that look nice. For those who haven't had this before, it's basically a sesame/mixed-nut butter brick... sort of like what dried peanut butter powder would be like if it were compressed into a confection. The texture is both dry and oily at the same time, and the flavor is very nutty, and not as sweet as the American pallet might expect. This, however, is an awfully expensive tin to get just to try something you might not like... so I'd recommend newcomers find a different way to try halvah before buying this gourmet assortment. Now for the big negative... the packaging really didn't inspire confidence in the manufacturer. The tin is great, but the vacuum sealed bag had air inside (we didn't know if that was intentional), and each individually wrapped bar had leaked oil past the wrap... all-in-all, we didn't know if this was normal... if the oil all over the first bag was something we should be worried about... Honestly, the only reason we tried it was because the manufacturing date was just a couple weeks prior. No one got poisoned... but I really don't like guessing with my food. I don't know if I recommend this or not. It's an oily mess, and I didn't notice anything special about the flavor... I think it's probably for specific connoisseurs of this type of food, but not for the casual food enthusiast. I'm glad I got to try it, but I won't be buying again.

Excellent Quality Products
Purchased as a gift. The recipient was thrilled with the quality and taste of the product. I have purchased other items from this company and I have always been happy with their products. I would purchase again.
