I realized that I just want water on my lawn and the fancy bells and whistles that other sprinklers offer were not helpful at all. So I finally went back to a simple tried and true setup. I got this sprinkler and it throws a good amount of water a great distance and covers my whole lawn. Sometimes its just best for simple tasks like watering a lawn to keep it simple. Going to buy 3 more to cover the rest of my lawn.

I really just needed the sprinkler head and not the mounting base, but this was cheaper than buying just the head.Go figure.So, this does work, but has about half the range as advertised. 20' is the best I can get, and that's with ONE head on a 3/4" kine, 60psi, from a 11gpm wellI can run three on a line and get the exact same 20' results.It would be nice if it had the gpm usage listed, so a planned layout could work as it should.I'm changing to a RainBird gear drive unit that actually has a real 40' range, and a 4gpm usage. I recommend buy one of the RainBird units, and some PVC adapters. Make your own. It will work as expected.

The spike on this broke the first time I used it. We have rocky soil, so I could not say if it was a product defect (although it's clearly not strong metal) and I kept using it even though it would occasionally dislodge from the ground. However, it soon stopped oscillating as well. I bought it in October and - thanks to rainy weather - it was not used much in November - March. So, I probably got about 3 hours of watering out of this sprinkler. I contacted customer service through the warranty claim on the Gilmour website and did not hear back.

This sprinkler does a fantastic job that it covers my whole back yard where I used to be tightened up with watering with 2 oscillating ones for hours. Just put it in one spot that it does the whole job for you. Because of the adjustable mists, it allows you to water every inch of the lawn. Btw, this HD one is much better than their plastic Medium Duty kind. There is no leakage issue at all. I am very pleased for it fully meets my expectation.

I finally got this sprinkler to work when I first got it. I must say it was not user friendly and came with no instructions. I went to use it again a couple of months later and the stream adjustment does not work, nor will it move no matter what setting I use. My husband tried, as well, and no luck. If you want a simple sprinkler that lasts, this is not the one, at least not for me.

I had this sprinkler in past and it worked well. So, when it was time for new ones, I bought two of these.One is working well but the other one is not. It gets stuck at the end of its path and will not return.Water pressure has not changed since I had my old ones.Will look for an alternative.

I tried to use this sprinkler in-line with another sprinkler and did not seem to perform very well even with 3/4 hose and good water pressure. It works excellent by it self with the outlet capped off, but did not work very well in line with another sprinkler.

I specifically bought this sprinkler because of the coverage it advertised. In actual use, it only covers about half the distance and area advertised in its Amazon post. Everything else about the product seems to be okay, but it is useless to me if it does not meet my needs.

I am on a well with high iron content( hard water). The hard water reduces the function and longevity of everything it touches. I have tried every sprinkler under the sun. My friend suggested this one to me. It is absolutely the best sprinkler I have tried. Good reach. Good adjustability. Longer life (greater than 5 years) than everything else. I believe the brand also made a huge difference compared to others I tried. This is the only sprinkler I will buy now.

The construction on these sprinklers seem pretty solid, and they appear as if they'll last a while. Out of all the impulse sprinklers I've owned, these look and feel the nicest. The controls are well made and easy to use, both for the collars that adjust the rotation and the distance dial at the top.Unfortunately, the height/range is less than the Orbit impulse sprinklers that they were replacing, and I really needed the extra little bit to catch an area that is critical to water.

Worked well for the first week or so. Now it gets hung up instead of going in reverse. It’ll work fine then I check on it 5 minutes later and it’s been blasting the exact same spot without reversing. Should have bought a $10 Chinese plastic one from cdn tire.

Became less sturdy after 2 uses. The connector between the sprinkler and hose was loose and wobbly after the second use. I really thought this sprinkler would hold up to normal use. It still functions, but just not as strong and leaks in that area, causing uneven distribution. Disappointed.
