Our genes and habits help. I do facial exercises, gentle exfoliation and use this renewal cream. After it dries, I smooth some hyaluronic acid lotion over it. Helps with moisture and any irritation. FIRST time I purchased and used this was for my neck. Didn't do it right and neck turned red, so tried on crepey skin on my hands and forearms, wow. Crepey skin was diminished a LOT within a week. I had been using a derma roller for moderate scars on one cheek and the 11 lines you get between your eyebrows. Not working quite as well as I would like. Tried this. WOW, BETTER than derma roller by a LOT! BUT HERE'S THE THING.....IT IS STRONG. SO I use a VERY SMALL amount, wait a bit for it to dry and then put hyaluronic cream or lotion over areas I used this. HELPS with any irritation. I can even use a BIT on my neck now. SO PROS: IT FREAKING WORKS! CONS: CAN BE IRRITATING, but I find the hyaluronic cream or lotion I put over it helps a lot.
