I dig these!
I'm a fan! haha I love going to concerts but the ringing in my ears afterwards is soooo annoying, not to mentioned damaging after a long period of concert going. These are one solution you could take. You could always be THAT person holding their hands over their ears like a granny OR you can get these and have hands free fun at a concert without that annoying ringing in your ears afterwards. On a technical note...I did not notice them getting stuck in my ears as some other reviewers had mentioned. They fit perfectly and were very easy to remove. My boyfriend on the other hand had a bit more difficulty. He was able to put them in just fine and liked how effective they were at keeping harsh noise out and not ruining the show, but he had trouble removing them. We did NOT have to get tweezers to remove them though. It turns out that his fingers were too big to grab a hold of the little remover handle...I was able to grab the handle in his ear with ease and take the plugs out. So my suggestion is to use them, and if you have "bigger" ear canals than don't press them in too far and have someone help you remove them if needed. Overall they are worth the money! Very convenient packaging with the key chain:)

really good earplugs. The two dB ratings are fantastic
Really, really good earplugs. The two dB ratings are fantastic. The clear 19dB pair is pretty much invisible when wearing, and are great for speech. The 25 dB pair really cuts down sound. My only complaint? The carrier they come with won't fit both sets in it. Seems like that's an oversight, as it would have been easy to make the cylinder a little larger to allow for on-the-spot choice between the two. I wanted both pair on my keychain because I never know what noise level I will be around. On the plus side, the 25dB pair have a stem which allows you to decide how far in your ear you want them, and so can kinda do double duty. I keep those in the canister. The problem is that it means I have to keep the other pair somewhere in my house and hope not to lose the.PRO:Both pairs sound great.CON:Canister doesn't fit both pairs.

but they seem like they should function well
I haven't gotten to use them for their intended purpose since the concert isn't for another month, but they seem like they should function well. My one complaint is that the tiny container for them is just a bit too narrow and requires forceps to retrieve the earbuds from the bottom if you just stuff them in. We put them bak in the tiny baggie and stuffed them in that way which makes them far more retrievable, but I'm doubting my ability to keep track of the tiny baggie for the long term. It would be better if the canister was a millimeter or two larger in diameter.

Does the job as advertised.
I wore one of these in my left ear and attended a drum circle held inside - very loud! The ear plug did a great job of protecting this ear in which I have tinnitus; without it, the pain would have been unbearable. The color of the earplug makes it almost invisible to others. The metal case is very handy and protects the plug from getting lost. But I have two complaints: first, I used a plug with the longer stem; given that I have large hands, I don't see how using the one with a small stem would have been possible. Second, the plug seemed to go pretty deep into my ear canal, even though I have small canals. So I will continue to use it, but it seems that some redesigning is needed.

Great for sleeping! Blocks out snoring. Love them!
Oh my gosh, I love these! My husband snores so I have to have something. These come with two sets of earplugs. They are not the same size though. The clear pair is what I sleep in because they are shorter. You do have to swap out the decibel plugs though from the white pair so it blocks out more sound, but seriously they are a sleep changer! I have small ears and am a side sleeper. But these are perfect. So far now I'm on my second pair (my dog ate one pair! Gross I know) but they seem to last a good amount of time. My first pair lasted for 6 months and would've lasted longer. And that's sleeping just about every night in them. I will continue to buy these because it's hard for me to find a good pair!

Great bargain and well made.
It looks great and feels great. I think it is very well made. It seems a tad small for my ear canals. In addition to this, I also have other ear plugs (ETY and Alpine). The Alpine is slightly larger in diameter and fits me better. I highly recommend the Rave Ear Plugs since it's well made and affordable. I may just hold onto these as a back up or give them away since they are on the small side for me.

better than the foam ones for sure
I am convinced there is no such thing as a "hi fi" passive ear plug. You have a plug in your ear, there is no way it can reduce the SPL and pass all the frequencies through without having a substantial effect on the sound quality. These are decent though, better than the foam ones for sure. I like the different size plugs and swappable filters. The case is nice too.

No ear ringing after the concert!
I was partially deaf for a good 12 hours after seeing Windhand and Sleep. Worth it but I had that "I'm really going to be deaf by the time I'm 50" moment. I decided to buy a pair of earplugs before the next concert. We used these for Mastodon, Russian Circles and Eagles of Death Metal (bands that tend to be louder than most in a small venue). They definitely took the edge out of the noise but didn't block so much that I felt like I was missing out on the sound quality. I didnt even have any ear ringing after the show. The metal canister is barely big enough for one set of plugs. Buy the pouch version if you need to carry both pair of plugs. For the price, I'm completely satisfied with this purchase.
