Very nice chess board I suggest you get the one without the lettering looks cleaner in my opinion. It have some very minor nit issues but good overall.

Beautiful wood board - a delight to play on! Solid, substantial, nice attention to detail. Comes with a handled bag that has a pocket large enough to hold a full set of FIDE-sized wooden pieces. Every chess players needs a board like this.

This is a very nice board. Level, very well finished. Smooth surfaces, clean well finished edges and the accuracy of the layout is excellent. It comes with corner protectors, extra felt feet a nice bag/cover. Add to all of these pluses is that the wood is attractive. The cons are minor: the corner edges are sharp a couple have minor dings. Overall a good purchase for a non-custom board.

Very nice board! Searching to replace a deteriorating board purchased in 1978 with a whale bone chess set, (no judgement please), I chose this one. It accommodates the 5.5/8”tall, 1.75” diameter king and the other pieces nicely. It’s attractive, well made, and reasonably priced.

I like that it came well protected in a nice bag for storage. The corners had protective plastic pieces which could be used again for transport. I really like the satin finish which allows a good view of the wood grain. Yes the squares are a wood veneer but it does really look nice. The wood grain is appealing too. Some of the squares don't line up perfectly, but I don't even notice that while playing. Had I bought this board first, I might have waited on buying a different $200 solid wood board that I use less than this one.

El tablero mide 48 cm. de lado: es un tamaño grande pero contenido. Las casillas miden 5,1 cm. de lado. Y resultan ideales para piezas del número 5 o con un diámetro de base de entre 3,5 y 4 cm. El barniz es mate por lo que no hay reflejos y la visión del campo, muy amplio para el tamaño, es óptima. Lo elegí con este acabado porque a mí me parece que combina mejor con piezas negras no ebonizadas, pero eso ya es cosa de gustos. Es práctico para el juego y, además, queda bien y realza el sitio donde se ponga. La bolsa es ideal para transportarlo o para guardarlo bien protegido de chafaduras o de arañazos si no se va a usar durante periodos largos, ya que, como casi todos los tableros, está forrado con láminas muy finas que son delicadas.

Received Paliisander dark wood, not ebony as ordered. Ebony is ebony, palisander is a Brazilian Rosewood. Quality of white squares was very poor, the colour difference was too great between various white squares and some of the wood chosen for the white squares was in my opinion inappropriate for a board claiming to be of good quality. The pictured board looks excellent, all the white squares being of a consistent wood shade, what I received wasn't. Doesn't feel worth the money, even with a Black Friday discount, sending it back. Please note I am an internationally rated chess player, so know what I'm talking about.
