I bought this for my 6 year old girl and she loved it. The directions with the pictures could have been a little better but we figured it out. I wish it had more than one motor because you have to take the first one apart to make the 2nd and third one. It's a fun project all in all.

This is a fantastic product!! I have been trying to purchase toys that will promote STEM learning for my 6 year old grandson. THIS IS MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. Putting together the different robots requires counting and problem solving, a step up from putting together legos. My grandson is so proud when he completes the project...and the robot moves with the remote control. We have a blast doing these together.

The main appeal of this product for me, as I am not mechanically inclined nor spatially gifted and was trying to assemble these with my 8 year old grandson, were the reviews that praised ease of assembly. Contrary to another reviewer's experience, our box didn't come with all the correct pieces for each "robot" in its separate bag. We had to hunt through the different bags for the necessary pieces to assemble the first project. The instruction illustrations in our set were printed in colors that did't duplicate the colors of the pieces exactly so I found myself searching for a plastic piece in a shade of green that exists only in the illustrations. That aside, assembled, these end up to be remotely-controlled, "Lego" type vehicles that are speedy, responsive, and turn on a dime. However, they fall apart pretty easily if they're run into the furniture.

I purchased this for a four yr old birthday boy who loves taking things apart and putting things together...with his dad helping, he did great! He loves the robots...he has already used the parts to assemble other moving creations...I liked that it came with remote control...he loves the kit...

My 6 and a half year old daughter wanted a robot for Christmas so we purchased this for her, and it is quite a bit more challenging than the 6 year old rating implies. She is pretty good at problem solving and following directions (does fine with legos) but this required adult involvement. The pieces are difficult to put together, and the detail a bit mature. In the end, ours was broken as the remote or the motor didn't work and we have to email the company and have it replaced. If the child is older, and had a working remote it seems like it would be enjoyable.

I bought this product for my daughter for Christmas. When she unwrapped it, she was THRILLED. When we opened the box and began building one of the models (race car first), we discovered that 2 of the long red rods was missing, and the race car could not be built. I thought, well, we'll just make something else and I'll contact them when it's no longer Christmas. We chose another model that did not require the red pieces (a bug). We were about halfway done when we found out we were missing 12 of the medium white pieces, several red washers, and 1 of the bent white pieces (meant to be an antenna). After this discovery, we learned that we cannot build ANY of the models in the book and we put the toy away. I've tried contacting the company unsuccessfully. Each of my kids only gets one toy for Christmas, and my daughter's toy is broken.

El vam comprar per un aniversari d'un nen que feia cinc anys i demanava insistentment "un robot". Ell volia un robot de catàleg q costava el doble que aquest joc però només tenia botons per apretar i fer música i soroll. Buscant, buscant vam arribar aquí i ha estat un gran encert.+ Fàcil de muntar. L'ha muntat amb ajuda, però, a diferència de moltes ressenyes que he llegit per aquí, les instruccions estan ben donades. I se n'ha sortit millor amb aquest joc que amb un Lego que també li van regalar.+ Es mouen fantàsticament bé, no entenc els comentaris d'altres ressenyes. Només quan vàrem muntar el tren semblava q no funcionés però era xq les rodes no estaven ben muntades.+ Gustós de muntar. El tacte de les peces que són un punt gomoses és molt agraït.+ Canviar el muntatge (hi ha 4 models) i poder-lo moure amb comandament són dos extres que li han encantat.+ Possibilitats de crear muntatges propis i que es moguin.? Porta una clau anglesa metàl·lica que no sé ben bé per a que serveix.- Em fan patir una mica els cables que veig molt finets però, per ara, han aguantat molt bé.- Segons quin és el muntatge el vehicle no gira dreta i esquerra sinó que fa voltes. Però això més q un problema és la conseqüència inevitable de la versatilitat del producte.

Nach gezielter Rückfrage war das aber kein Problem, alles hat gepasst, Anleitungen verständlich und die Antwort war: ... na eh so wie die Legosachen. Allerdings nicht mit Legoteilen kompatibel, dafür jedoch sehr preisgünstig im VergleichDaher also eine klare Kaufempfehlung

The media could not be loaded. This is a fun little kit for the whole family, now instead of always playing board games on family game night we get this out and build our own little robots. The toy is for ages 6+ and as an adult I can honestly say this is fun even for me to use. All the pieces are well made and aren't flimsy and cheap so they will last and can be used over and over again. The set comes with all the batteries you need to power the remote control and the motor. The instructions are very thorough and easy to understand, there's step by step detailed photos that make it easy for you to assemble the toys step by step. Or you can build your own and create your own special robot. The best part about this kit is once you build your toy it moves around and is controlled by the controller. Its a lot of fun to build and then race around your own remote control toy. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased review.
