tiny!
I ordered the large. The sticker on my cutting board says 15.7 x 9 and it is NOT!!! It is 6 x 9!I should have paid attention to the reviews but I assume when multiple people complain that they didn't get the size they ordered the problem would be taken care of. Not true! Very disappointed!

Throw it in the backpack...
I spend a lot of time in the backcountry, living out of a backpack. Whether I am dressing a fish or chopping up foraged edibles, I am always looking for the perfect flat log or piece of wood to substitute as a cutting board. Weight is always a consideration but at less than 6 ounces, I decided to give this cutting board a try. Especially considering the price can not be beat. I'm glad I purchased it. The cutting board fits perfectly into my backpack but doesn't add much weight. One side of the board it marked for meat and the reverse is labeled for vegetables. This makes it easy to avoid cross contamination. After being stored in my pack day after day, the board does warp slightly. However, this to be expected with such a lightweight cutting board. I don't think anyone should expect this thing to hold it's shape and stay perfectly flat. After a year of use, this GSI Ultralight Cutting Board has earned a permanent spot in my pack.

Perfect for camping
This is a great little cutting board for camping. Flat so it doesn't take up space and a soft plastic that doesn't ruin knives. There are two sides marked with a carrot and a steak so you don't mix up the meat and veggies I guess. For car camping, honestly it could be bigger but I just bring more than one when we camp with more people than just my family, and I don't usually take cutting boards backpacking because it's really not worth the weight for what I normally cook on a trail but It could easily be packed in a backpack if you wanted to.

Absolutely amazing! Absolutely perfect!
Wind turbine tail fins start at about $87 with $24 shipping. This cutting board is lighter, more weatherproof and costs less than $6.00 and is absolutely perfect in material, is weight, in shape to be a tail fin on my wind turbines at a fraction of the cost. Outstanding!

waste of money
if this is a large, i would hate to see the small. you are going to get a thin piece of plastic with a hook to hang it. this is worthless, save your 5 bucks and get a real cutting board.

Excellent lightweight travel cutting board
Great portable cutting board. It's effective length is 14 1/2 inches (advertised as 15.7 in. x 9.1 in. x 0.1 in.). The longest length is 15 3/4 inches. The ends are not straight, meaning the cutting board is not a perfect rectangle. I would have preferred the cutting board to be 10 1/2 inches. I find the cutting board to be on the long side. Doesn't pack well in a stuff sack that I have for my mess gear. The smaller board is about the size of a bartender's cutting board. Generally too small, but still useful.

Good size and lightweight for camping but came flawed
Finish was flawed/bubbled up straight out of the box. Otherwise seems like it would do the job. But I worry that the finish will become more of a problem over time.

It's a cutting board!
How do you mess that up? You don't - and GSI didn't. It's lightweight, it's sturdy, it's a little flexible, and it's easy to clean. What more do you want?

Ultralight
Great cutting board for weight to usefulness ratio, ordered the large size because we like cooking in the backcountry. Weight was as listed in the description.
