PilotIroshizuku Mini Fountain Pen Ink - 15ml Bottle - AS/SNK/YB

I bought this for use with a glass pen. Works wonderfully.

You can't go wrong with Pilot Iroshizuku inks. I own some of them already and they behave very well in several nib sizes, particularly in calligraphy nibs. This particular set is a very interesting combination of cold and warm tones at a more or less reasonable price. The bottles are pretty and sturdy, and the package looks like a little book in my shelf. I'm quite happy with this purchase. Peace.

For those who enjoy writing, this set will be a gleeful addition to their ink collection. There is no question about the quality but 1 star less because the set is not flexible and why would we buy two blues?

In my opinion, Pilot Iroshizuku inks are among the best available. Of course, they should be for the price. These inks work great in all of my pens. I bought this 3-pack mainly to try the lighter blue Asa-Gao ink in the hopes it would mimic the Pilot G2 gel pen's blue. And it did. I figured I would get the three pack though for some variety. Surprisingly, I ended up liking the remaining two inks as much, if not more, than the Asa-Gao. Shin-Kai is interesting because when wet it is a brighter blue but it dries down to a darker more classy blue/black. "Understated elegance" is what I would call it. A great blue for "official" documents. When I first ordered this set I felt like I was wasting my money a bit by having Yama-Budo included since I figured I would rarely want to use a magenta-ish ink. MAN was I wrong. It is a FANTASTIC color and I love writing with it. I'm a dude and some might say it is a "girly" color (no judgment, just sayin') but who cares? I'm a beard-wearing, dad-bod guy who will gladly whip the fountain pen out of my cargo shorts and and Yama-Budo all over the place with pride! To conclude, if you get this 3-pack you will probably end up with at least one new favorite color, and possibly three.
