I used a sumi-e ink brush to hand paint the lettering on paper, then traced and hand cut each letter. Lastly, I machine appliqued it on to the front of this one of a kind pillow using my trusty 1970's Sewing Machine. Makes a perfect housewarming gift. The back is a simple envelope closure, and easily removes in the event that you need to spot clean. The applique does best with a spot cleaning or gentle hand cleaning to avoid edge fray.
