I think the key word on the label is - Green Chili SAUCE! I thought I was buying fire roasted, chopped green chilis. It is green chilis - but it is SAUCE. So I guess that's why it soupy. Just be away you are not buying chopped, fire roasted green chilis - you're buy a sauce you would pour onto something. I was hoping - it's in glass, which I prefer - but I don't want SAUCE. It tastes good, but it's a pain to find recipes to use a nice soupy sauce. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.
