Bravit Multi Function Portable Jump Starter 8000 mAh Portable Power Bank (White)

After charging my phone once the battery went from 100% to 25%. Am I suppose to believe that it is going to jump a dead battery. I returned it. Very dissapointed.

I have three kids age 16-20 who are driving, I think that this should be in all of our cars.I haven't been able to test how it works to jumpstart a car, but it works so well for everything else. It is a must have in your car and home. In addition, to all the attachments shown below in my pics, it also has an Emergency (SOS) light and a flashlight. I love that it also can be charged in the car and comes with the adapter to do so. The white adapter has four different sized ends. I used this for my iPad, iPhone 5 and 5S (kids) and a Samsung Galaxy 5 and 6. It easily charged three smart phones and then charged my camera (I had lost the charger for it). It isn't as fast as my lightning charger (obviously), but a fantastic product to have for emergencies. I just bought 5 more so that we can have one for each car and one for our house. This product (the first one only) was purchased at a discounted rate for an honest and unbiased review.

It lasted two years then the battery wouldn’t recharge. They have since updated their description indicating you have to use it every three months for it to last. Hard to use every three months when it’s main purpose is to jump a dead battery. I guess batteries are supposed to die every three months. Price has more than doubled since purchased. Customer service said there is only a 30 day warranty on item. Didn’t even offer a discount on ordering a replacement.

This charger works incredibly well! I plugged it in overnight before the first day I used it and I'm so surprised how quickly it charged my phone. The battery itself holds a lot of power. It holds enough to charge my phone (galaxy note 4) up to 100% twice without needing to be plugged in again. It came with a universal cord for charging phones and cameras, including micro-usb, lightning for iphone, and the original iphone charger for older phones. It also came with a jumper cable attachment that can jump start a car! I won't ever have to worry about breaking down somewhere that isn't highly trafficked. The battery cell has a little indicator light that shows you how much power is left, and it also comes with an LED flashlight next to some of the cable ports for nighttime. I would definitely recommend this charger to anyone with any kind of electronic device. Even if it doesn't come with the specific port-type your device needs, the port on the battery itself is USB, so you can use your own cord. I didn't have a chance to try this as a jump starter for a vehicle. I did try it as a charger on the go and just as a charger at home. I'm finding using it as more of a charging station meets more my needs. I like the cord that came with it that will allow several items to be charged at one time. I also feel more comfortable being able to push the side button to let me know the amount of charge this power pack is containing prior to putting something to charge. The lights will show 25%>100%Reading the instructions says this will hold a charge for up to 6 months. Yet to recharge every 3 months. So far I feel it needed for my unit a couple good charges before it seem to have a true full charge. I started by using it just for my cellphone, then my tablet. They both seem to take some time the first couple times. Then the Bravit charged faster. All in all I hope this unit holds up to its statements.The casing is metal. The buttons are good and solid. The weight is 8.4 oz or 240 grams. The plugs are reinforced and were easy to determine. The case fit great in a leather IPhone 6Plus case I already owned. That made me feel more comfortable carrying it around with me. If one wanted to keep this in their car for emergency reasons. The box is very solid and compact. The lid is magnetic and the small box inside holds all cables including the jumpstart battery cables. The instructions said it could hold enough charge to jump 20 vehicles. I wish I could have tried that out. Sorry guys. I did give it a good run through on my headphones, tablet, iPhone 5 & IPhone 4 ( the accessory was not compatible yet it was charging Apple glitch). They all respond and charged up. I like that this unit has a ISB plug so I can use my own cord to charge. Like I show in photo using the cord that came with my Bluetooth Speaker.I give this 4 stars because I could not use this to its fullest statements. Also I will say the plug that came with it to charge the unit did get pretty warm in just 20 minutes while plugged in. No smells or true concerns but my Husband the firefighter would not let me leave home with it plugged in the first plug and charge.
