Great little book, really concise and nicely laid out. Super helpful to have all the medical stuff in one place, safe to say I feel much more confident in my ability to pass having bought the book!

Good overview of topics an good adjunct to my other resources.

Despite the very first paragraph of the book (an introduction written by the authors) explaining that most candidates have good knowledge of general medicine but not so much other specialities including obs and gynae and paediatrics, the authors elect to only include chapters on general medicine and not on other areas. Seems like an easy money-grabbing scheme by the authors - I would avoid this book if you've done work in general medicine or have done any part of MRCP.

This book is an overview of the most common topics. Does not necessary every conditions or specialities but can be used as an adjunct to other learning material. The book can be quite flimsy, so take care when handling.
