Fun Anthology
Stephen Jones is always reliable when it comes to horror anthologies, and Terrifying Tales to Tell at Night, despite being geared toward a younger crowd, is just as good as I suspected. This anthology has two of my all time favorite horror stories in it, Neil Gaiman's "Click-Clack The Rattle Bag" and Stephen King's "Here There Be Tygers." "Click-Clack" is very short but very, very creepy. It definitely got under my skin. And "Tygers" was actually my first Stephen King story, way back when I was about 6 or 7. Ramsey Campbell's story, "The Chimney," is another excellent contribution, and another that I had read before. Based around a little boy who is very scared of something coming down the chimney in his room. Campbell is one of my all time favorite writers, and this is a great introduction for younger readers to his work. The rest of the stories were unfamiliar to me before I read this volume, but I enjoyed most of them. You really can't go wrong with the likes of Charles L. Grant, Manly Wade Wellman, and R. Chetwynd-Hayes. Excellent collection for all ages.

Some good stories
Modern young readers, 11-16, are not likely to be 'terrified' but some of the stories are better than others. I was disappointed, maybe because I'm an adult but I was looking for inspiration for lessons and I did not find it here. Sorry.

Love the stories
Love short scary stories. This book has been very good and the stories are very short which I like.
