I got one of these - different 'scent' ina Xmas stocking 2 years ago. I have very dry skin and found this really works for me - believe me I have tried many. It protects your lips from the cold weather and keeps the moisture in. I have also found I can add a bit of lipstick after the gloss and the lipstick then doesn't bleed as any cracks due to cold or older age are filled with the gloss. Not really noticed a scent of 'flavour', which is good as temptation to lick your lips would defeat the purpose for me. Some may feel it's a little sticky compared to a balm, well worth it for me.

I purchased as the balm was recommended by two people as I was suffering from severely chapped lips. I can’t believe that with one application my mouth stopped hurting and I could smile/yawn without pain. The balm stays put for around two to three hours unlike Vaseline that needs constant re application. I swear by this balm!
