It does smoke a bit, especially if doing heavier drilling or milling, but it's near odorless which is a big improvement over the previously mentioned Ridgid cutting fluid I have been using. If I had to give it a single critique, I wish that the viscosity was a little thicker. While a little goes a long way, you may use more simply because it flows out pretty well. It's a pro and a con depending on what you're doing. It's not the cheapest product out there, but after a decent test drive, I'm satisfied with it. I also like that it's easy to clean up, but the lubricity and lack of odor are the things which have won me over. While this cutting fluid works good, it’s not as good as WD40 on aluminum. I show the grind I am using on an Atlas 7B shaper. .010” DOC, I was using this product. Towards the end I sprayed some WD40 just to see if the surface finish would improve. You can immediately see the line where WD40 was introduced giving a better surface finish. I just thought I’d share.
