Very robust but hefty bottle
This is a hefty water bottle that, once filled, is quite heavy. Fine if you've got a rucksack to sling it into, but a bit unwieldy if you're just in possession of smaller bag or big pocket.

Interesting and quirky
Being an interesting salmon coloured bottle standing 24cm tall, you pick this bottle up and instantly realise it's not just a simple bottle. Firstly there's the weight which at around half a kilo when empty means this bottle has some heft to it. The advert states the bottle is lightweight but it's by far the heaviest 500ml bottle I own! The bottle has a 6cm diameter making it an ideal size for a backpack but with that weight you might think twice about packing it for a camping/hiking trip if you're trying to keep weight down. That said, the weight actually makes the bottle feel indestructible and it's nice that it's made entirely from recycled material. The other unusual thing about this bottle is its 'dual openings'. You either open just the lid (neck) by itself revealing a 3cm opening ideal for cold drinks, or you unscrew the bottle at its shoulder to make a beaker, ideal for sipping hot drinks. It does take a bit of care though because if the top is screwed on tightly and the shoulder opening is not screwed on so tight, gripping the lid and turning might cause the bottle to start unscrewing where you don't expect it. If the bottle happens to be filled to the brim then whatever liquid is contained within the neck of the bottle will start leaking out. That said, once you know how the bottle works, you're unlikely to make that mistake (but beware if you hand a full bottle to a friend without pointing this out). Also with both sections screwed shut I've had no problems with the bottle leaking. The other nice thing about the larger second opening is that it makes the bottle very easy to clean.Yes £21.99 is a little expensive for a 500ml plastic bottle but I like the fact it's a little different and is squarely aimed at being environmentally friendly and as something a little different in the world of drinking vessels, I'd recommend this.

Leaked lots. Broke easily
This product leaked on several occasions as when you undo the drinking lid the main body occasionally opens too causing the leak. It dropped out of my bag and split all the way through. Only good thing is that is is recyclable. Disappointing from a reputable brand

Mildew smell in lid, impossible to clean O ring
Nice concept, quite sturdy, cute color... but the lid smells like someone forgot the laundry (mildewy) no matter how thoroughly I wash it - something in the O ring which is glued in I guess. Not a pleasant experience, and I've only ever put water in it.

Robust, wel-designed, eco-frinedly - all round brilliant
I always take a bottle of water with me when I go out, either in the car, walking or to the gym, and have various bottle, metal and plastic which I use as I do not buy bottle water. This particular bottle is made from recycled plastic bottle which is a brilliant use for them, so well done! I believe the bottles are collected by school children who are given given library vouchers in return – a splendid and worthwhile initiative in my book – pun intended. Robust, well made, well designed..So, this is an unusual bottle in more ways than one: remove the top, then remove the second piece, screw the two together and – voila! - you have a cup. Again, brilliant. However – if you fill the bottle to the top, use some of the water – or whatever – before you remove that second section, otherwise disaster. So, remember, if you're going to use the cup immediately only fill the the bottle to the first level, not the top.Once the three pieces are in place and screwed tightly, it is leakproof.I would argue that this is as light as it claims. It's 451g empty, add the full capacity of just under 500ml and it weighs 929g, not exactly a lightweight when you're trudging over hill and dale. 400ml, by the way, takes the level to the cup line.I have only used this with cold water, as I don;t usually take hot drinks out with me, but will try it with hot water later today. Apparently it is microwave safe but as it's too tall to fit in mine I can't put that to the test.On the face of it this seems expensive, but given the initiative behind it, the design and versatility of it, and presumably the longevity of it, it's a worthwhile investment.

Cool Coral Water bottle
Made from approx. 15 recycled plastic bottles, eco-friendly, leakproof, the lids doubles up as a cup/container to drink from , microwave safe and comes with a 12 month guarantee. I really like the colour and how minimalist it looks, quite trendy in fact. I’ve been using it ever since I got it, I wouldn’t say its lightweight as per the description, its sturdy, feels very durable, easy to clean as it comes away in three parts. I have only used it to drink cold water from, will probably at some stage use it to store a hot drink too, wouldn’t necessarily think of using it in the microwave even though it claims to be of safe use in the microwave. A considered purchase I would say that hopefully would pay its way over the amount of time it would last you.

Too heavy to carry around in your handbag
I couldn't believe how heavy this was when I got it. It honestly feels like it's already full. I bought it to carry around with me but realistically that's not going to happen. Will have to be relegated to bringing on car journeys. I know other reviews say it's heavy but I thought it looked like it couldn't be that bad - don't make the same mistake I did if you want something light! Just weight it and it's about 460g unfilled. That's about 3x the weight of a similar product I was considering (and will probably now buy instead).HOWEVER I love the fact it is made of recycled materials, and the look is good. Also good that it's dishwasher-friendly.
