This review is specifically for PAUTIX COB LED Strip Neon Rope Light 16.4ft/5m, 4000K White 504 LEDs/m 24V, Silicone LED Neon Light IP68 Waterproof product.I installed these strip lights above my kitchen counters about six months ago, in separately purchased aluminum extrusions with translucent lens covers, and powered by separately purchased 24W Pluspoe transformer and Lutron dimmer wall switch for a permanent installation look (no wires showing). I chose the silicone encapsulated waterproof strip because I wanted a section of the lighting above my kitchen range where it would be subject to steam and grease from cooking.This particular light strip does not come with an adhesive backing and I soon found out why - no adhesive I tried would stick to the silicone! Even the super double-sticky 3M tape just fell off. So I purchased the little plastic clips made specifically for mounting LED strips, and used those inside the aluminum extrusions to hold the strip lights in place. This has the added benefit of allowing easier replacement of the strip if the need arises (which it did - see below).These look and work great. It appears as one, bright, super-thin strip of light. No individual LED spots are visible. The Lutron slider switch dims the lights smoothly from 100% (very bright) down to about 10 or 20% brightness (soft glow). At the very lowest setting there is a barely perceptible flicker to the strip.I do wish Pautix or someone would sell all-inclusive kits for projects like this. I spent quite a bit of time researching all the various components and hardware necessary to "engineer" my installation.This all worked very well for about six months, then about two-thirds of one section of the strip went dark. Apparently a conductor embedded inside the molded strip failed. I could make it re-light momentarily by squeezing or twisting it at the right location, but the strip needed to be replaced. I contacted Pautex through the Amazon messaging system and requested a warranty replacement. SIX MINUTES after sending my message, I received a response asking for my address. I replied and a few minutes later I received confirmation they were shipping a replacement. Amazon delivered it two days later. I installed it and everything is up and running again. Exceptional service from Pautix!

This light was easy to install and so far the adhesive is wonderful. I had it installed for 2 months so far. I have it attached to a dimmer and the light is so bright I don't need to keep it set to the brightest to illuminate my closet.

I like this better than most lED strips I've bought in the past because it has the diffusion layer for even lighting. I hate when you can see the individual diodes - this one looks great and is easy to install/ use. I will buy again!

Bought several rolls for a museum display case project. All worked well. Was able to cut and splice with no problem. This product was much cheaper than similar items on the internet. Have only been in service a few weeks so can't comment on life as of yet.

One of the things we decided we wanted when we remodeled our kitchen was under-cabinet lighting. After looking at several styles, I settled on this particular brand/style. One of the things I liked about this style of light was the diffusion aspect of the band that goes over the LED's, it creates a much more evenly distributed light source and the result is a much less harsh and more pleasing light. As far as installation, these were a breeze. Just unroll out the amount you need, cut at the designated cutting points, attach your wire clips, remove the backing and stick. One thing: make absolutely certain of your placement before you start pressing down the adhesive backing. 3M doesn't mess around when it comes to their adhesives, and once the adhesive starts to bond with the mounting surface, they become either difficult to remove or they remove part of the finish on the material they're adhered to. I've only had these installed for a week, but they look great and do a fantastic job.

Stumbled upon these when looking for a less expensive option to use on our remodel jobs. I have had no issues and now continuously re order for the upcoming jobs

The product is legit perfect. 4000k is spot on. As far as these other reviews the people either have no clue what they’re doing or they’re looking to throw shame. I bought about 8 rolls. They all have female adapters. They also dim flawlessly. Whether that dude had a dimmable driver. That’s the question. He’s got no clue. All clowns giving reviews. I wish I had honest reviews when I bought. One more thing. As far as the stickiness of tape. Getting the paper started to peel is tricky. If you pull you can be taking the entire layer of tape off the actually led. I know because I did it. Enjoy !!

When they worked, seemed to be great. One season of winter weather and they wouldn't turn on once. Junk.

This strip has a male connector soldered to the end. The product photo clearly shows a female connector. I can't power this with any standard power adapter.

The package sent was unfortunately IP20, not IP65 with silicone waterproofing covering as the description said.

Strip has a male connector. Should be female (like on description). Can't be connected to power supply. Now I need to buy adapter female-female.
