We used it on our VR the original speakers were bad and we wanted better but there was a huge gap with the new speakers so we put these with the proper water protection.It is amazing love it

Got this for a 07 civic sedan front door after purchasing another one that did not fit. I was very happy with this one. The only complaint I had was it did not come with any screws but I was able to use the one the speakers came with.

It's weird that I have to remove so much plastic material to use these for what they're supposedly intended for. I used a disc attachment on my Dremel and removed all of the plastic screw shafts. I also had to score into the lower mounts a bit. As intended? The Kicker speakers I bought are the recommended size and I used them on a 2006 Honda Civic EX coupe (8th gen), with the dreaded premium sound system. I contacted Kicker and these are even the brackets that they recommended for my speakers on my car. I rated them over two stars because they were at least easier to bodge than the American Internationals were. I would have had to remove the whole inner plastic ring on those, plus notch the other parts (they came free where I bought the speakers).
