LIBRATON Rivet Gun, Hand Riveter, Pop Rivet Gun

I had a rivet pop out on my dog's buggy recently, and some of the rivets on the framing of my garage door had disappeared over some years (buggy being the urgent issue!).I doubt I will use this little gun that often, I have survived up to now without one, but it did a cracking job on the garage door as practice. Buggy took two goes to get right, but that was the awkward angle of attack rather than the gun's fault.It probably wouldn't be up to heavy duty, continuous use - it is pretty cheap after all, cheap enough to leave in the tool box for years - but for occasional emergency repairs, it is perfect and comes with an adequate supply of rivets in sundry sizes to get you started. I have only used the shanks of the drill bits for sizing, but they seem pretty sharp and are a nice bonus.No issues ejecting the spent pins either.

Found this product to be well made, although may not stand up to a lot of use in a professional environment for stop for the occasional use it was well made and served its purpose for stop it was well packaged and came with a number of rivets to use with it I would have no hesitation he recommending this 0roduct

This is the first rivet gun that I have used and I must say I am impressed. I decided to get it because I have a few projects to do at the moment that I thought would better suit riveting rather than a nut and bolt. I have used the smaller two sizes and they have worked well in securing metal to plastic. I now need to use it on my garage door to attach an item to it and I'm confident that this will do the job nicely. I am not giving 5 stars because, as previously reviewed, the smallest drill bit broke the first time it was used, so I am not confident in the quality of the bits supplied but the tool itself appears sturdy and well made. For the DIYer it's ideal and will be able to tackle most of the infrequent jobs that I can throw at it.

I bought it as cheap temporary replacement for my powered one , and was genuinely surprised to its build quality. Good value for money

Used to rivet my new garden shed together Half millimetre thick sheeting I did not trust self tapping screws suppliedOut of 60 rivets used, almost 20 of them failed to snap at rivet, instead they snapped half way up, meaning I had to cut the protruding pieces off with a hacksaw very annoyingThey were the heavy rivets approx 20mm long, may not have happened with smaller rivets.But having worked with rivet guns all my life (sheet metal worker) I know the Jaws in this rivet gun are just not quite up to the jobof using the largest rivet size that this gun acceptsBut still managed to rivet hut together and probably won't use again for a while. Cheap and cheerfullPs if rivet snaps half way, you can grip with pliers and bent back and forth too snap offUpdate....... Within a week of writing my review, the company got in touch to apologise for faulty rivet gun, and immediately senta replacement rivet gun at no cost.Excellent customer service considering the fault may have happened in transit.Would definitely recommend this company on customer service aloneVery happy customer, and will continue purchasing from them without hesitation and complete confidence5 stars

I bought this for my stepson's vintage Dawes Kingpin mudguard and it worked really well. I used to own a SIII Landrover so I know about pop riveting.

Feels like it's reasonably well made (centre aisle quality) but I had two issues with it. The handles are too far apart, and I have big hands, this made it difficult to use.I tried to repair a rucksack strap with it but even the largest rivet didn't pop correctly. I'll give it another go but may have to return to my 70 year old one that's a bit scruffy but never lets me down.

Night this to fix my son’s truck and so far it’s been excellent, it came promptly and packaged well, it’s light weight but not too light because it has been pretty sturdy as well. I’m impressed by how well it’s working and hopefully it’ll last for a long time. Just started using it so time will tell, if it fails within a shorter than expected timeframe then I’ll be back to say it.Otherwise I’d say for the price of this it’s definitely 👍 worth the money !
