Q: What's the best way to keep these looking new? Do they have to be rinsed? Can they be put in the washing machine?

Just keep them in a dry place when not in use. The pool water should keep them pretty clean. I don’t think you would put these in a washing machine!!

Q: I have had these foam weights for many years. The foam is coming off in bits. Can I replace just the foam discs?

I would not even try to replace the foam discs--I don't even know if you can do that. I use the weights 5 days a week for an hour in the pool at the gym and I make sure that I rinse the weights off in the shower to rinse the chlorine away.

Q: We currently have a set from another company and the foam in the handles immediately came apart. How are these holding out?

I purchased two sets (green & red) in March of 2020. I use them daily and leave them outside next to the pool. We live in Florida, and the daily exposure to the sun doesn't seem to adversely affect them at all. They still look new! They are holding up extremly well. One of the reasons that I purchased this product is that our club uses them to teach water aerobics. They are definitely a great product and I would strongly recommend them. I am seriously considering buying the blue set soon, as it offers even more resistance. I use the green ones exclusively, while my wife uses the red ones.

Q: Are the barbells made in the USA?

It's not on the dumbbell itself and I don't have the box. Sorry. I am pleased with them.
