KawecoSkyline Sport I Premium Fountain Pen Grey

I got the black EF (extra-fine nib) version, it came in a plastic zip-lock bag along with an instruction/guarantee leaflet, a Kaweco sticker and a flat-packed small kaweco cardboard box for it - so if you want the unboxing experience you'll have to box it yourself first. It also came with a fresh ink cartridge stored in the barrel. All arrived undamaged. This has quickly turned into my most used pen, it's lightweight, very well-made and compact-when-closed, it screws closed so should be pocket-safe. It all works very well, pretty smooth for such a fine fountain pen. Not too wet - so pretty quick to dry since it's so fine: which is good as I'm left-handed and liable to smearing everything. Not quite as fine as a Japanese EF nib (e.g. a Pilot), but pretty fine nonetheless. I also bought a clip and converter so I can use bottled inks - the clip kept sliding off the incredibly glossy barrel but I found wetting the barrel before putting the clip on and leaving it to dry on seemed to sort that. This would make a great first fountain pen, or a great everyday-carry for anyone, though if you've got huge hands you might want something a bit bigger.

This little pen is the nicest pen I have bought all year. Easy to write with and smooth on the page. Love the fine nib - means I can write really small and neatly. LOVE IT :)

Love the colour and really pleased with the nib. Always had medium before and this is so much more fine. Feels a bit scratchy at first but got used to it quickly. Also takes standard cheap cartridges which is a bonus!

By far one of the nicest, lower budget fountain pens I have used. As a long-time Lamy user, I may have found a new favourite.I love the screw pen cap - as it’s extra reassurance you’re not going to accidentally end up with ink all over your bag because the lid came off!

Love this pen. Writing is excellent. Purchased an extra fine lamy at the same time. But find myself using this extra fine as my go to pen. I was worried about the size of the pen, but that also is a bonus. Easy to just put in my pocket. It has a screw on top so no danger of leaking. Cheaper and better than the lamy in my opinion.
