Fun and Great Learning Tool
Bought these for our road trip with our grandkids. They loved creating stories and the processed helped them with learning about nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, etc.. It kept everyone in the car entertained for hours while everyone brushed up on their english and grammer skills.

Fun, educational and a compact way to ensure hours of fun when travelling while unplugging for a while!
We just returned from a long trip that involved 9 hours on 2 planes each way - and we loaded up on kids entertainment from books and movies on their Kindle, coloring books, puzzle books and this - Mad Libs on the Road! In retrospect I wish I had ditched the puzzle / coloring books and added less movies to the Kindle as Mad Libs was the biggest hit, in the most compact form with an educational component to boot. It also would have made back packs lighter! It's simple, fun and the kids were deep in thought as their tried to come up with various nouns, pronouns, adjunctive words and so on; in order to compete each passage! I loved the fact that this was educational and particularly so for my soon to be First Grader who has not really covered these concepts yet! The whole family got involved and there was often a fit of giggles as the story was read! Its true Old School; gets the kids unplugged from technology for a while and is clearly much loved. As we were at the rather basic airport on the way home another child came up to ask asking if we had purchased it there so he could buy one ...it's great to see kids ask for something other than an iPad . It's also really small and lightweight so you could really load up on these!I intend on purchasing more from the series! My kids asked to play this over and over again; as anything electronic was overlooked! And that for me is priceless!

Fun Activity
If you like Mad Libs, then you will like this. it is a fun activity for a kid to take to camp, do with a friend when they are over, or in the car. I like it is an activity that takes your child away from screens.Give your child the gift of imagination while learning the proper parts of language. Two thumbs up.

Great for Travel!
Great gift for a 9 year old who loves her Mad Libs collection! The younger children, ages 5 and 7, didn't really understand what a noun, adjective, etc was. That didn't stop them from laughing hysterically and learning what they were! Great fun listening to stories being read! Road trip? You will wantTo pack this! Nice quiet time activity. Great stocking stuffer or little giftTo have on hand! Love the price point here at Amazon! At a local store, these books ranged from $4.99 to $9.99

Fun with kids!
I got this to play with my nephew to get us off our electronics devices and interacting with each other. It’s fun and entertaining for both us while challenging us to think of new works. I love Mad Libs as a kid and I’m glad they are still around.

An oldie but a goodie
An oldie but a goodie. My kids (ages 5 & 7) get a real kick out of doing these on our recent road trip. I would pull it out any time they began to squabble as a means of redirection. Even if my son chose not to participate (about 1/3 of the time), my husband, daughter, and I were able to go ahead and have a good time. It was a great means of engaging my extrovert kid while giving my introvert kid a headphones break. Doing an entire series with each person taking turns naming words only took about 5 or so minutes, so they don't eat a ton of time in and of themselves, but were a priceless distraction when pulled out periodically.
