Great Everyday filament
Overture PLA continues to be my go-to filament, earning a solid 5 stars for its incredible reliability and consistent results. The color saturation is fantastic, providing a vibrant and professional finish to every print, but the real standout is the quality of the spooling. Unlike other brands that can be prone to snags or knots, Overture’s neat winding ensures a completely tangle-free experience, which is a lifesaver for long, unattended prints. I haven't run into any of the typical clogging or adhesion issues common with cheaper filaments, making it a stress-free choice for both beginners and pros.

Finally Producing Some Useable Prints — But Looking for a Solution
I must give this company 5 stars for their high level of support which goes beyond what other filament suppliers might do when there are problems. In fact It may be that my own printer (Ender 3 Pro) is what’s responsible for the issues which kept me initially from being able to get any successful prints out of this purchase. I contacted the company and was offered a replacement roll as well as graciously sending me the recommended slicer settings. Iris has been patient and helpful. Thus far I’ve been able to successfully print some small pieces from the replacement roll using a seemingly endless number of variations of slicer settings. It is possible that the original roll may have been from a bad batch or maybe something changed on my printer which just happened to coincide with the purchase and use of this filament or maybe the Gold Silk just happens to be much trickier to work with than other materials. It is significant that when printing the same parts with the same printer, all other PLA and SILK filaments including one other Overture filament, always print perfectly for me without any clogging of the hot end. But as soon as I switch to the Overture Silk Gold, it is difficult to get a decent print. It’s perhaps a significant fact that printing with the replacement roll did somewhat decrease the frequency of clogging. Also changing the various parameters in Cura and running seemingly endless test prints on each change over the last few weeks has resulted in being able to successfully printed some objects. Take what you can from this incomplete write-up, because I am still unable to determine whether this material just doesn’t tolerate retraction or if indeed there is a problem with my printer. I don’t know. I will continue to try some other use cases with the replacement roll and (who knows?) future experience might reveal what is truly happening. All I can say for now is If you do buy this product, experienced it clogging your hot end as I have, and found a work around, I’d be very interested in knowing what the solution turned out to be. …will update this if the Gold Silk printing issue is solved 🥴. Here is a quick update to the above write-up, many months later…. I have found a compromise in printing with this filament. Cura settings: temp <195, max speed= 12mm/sec., flow 97%, cool =100%, retract < 0.8mm (I realize this is painfully slow and stringing is a mess. But with some clean-up afterward it is probably worth the effort.). Here is my taco holder design printed with this filament.

Absolutely Stunning Rainbow Filament!
This rainbow 3D filament printed beautifully. The color transitions are smooth and vibrant, with no muddy tones each layer blends perfectly into the next and really makes prints pop. The filament fed consistently with no tangling, clogging, or adhesion issues, and the layer lines came out clean and crisp.

One reel jams
5 colors are great. Red gets stuck constantly. Not wound properly and jams machine.

4Kg Bundle - Awesome Price for Great Filament
I mainly print in resin nowadays, but my son is getting into 3D printing so we’ve been breaking out my old FDM printers for some fun projects lately and I needed to restock my filament. We found two praying mantids (mantises?) and made a little terrarium out of an old aquarium. We made a bunch of functional parts. Modular lid pieces, with screens for ventilation, sliding doors for feeding, a dividing wall (to keep the praying mantids from eating each other), little platforms to climb on, and other fun stuff like that. I used to always order Hatchbox filament, but they’re prices seem to have gone up. I really don’t want to pay $30 for a spool of filament and tried Overture, mainly because of the price. The quality turned out to be great, so I ordered another the next time I ran low. I usually only reorder when I run out, but I saw the 4KG bundle and pounced. The white and black filament both come out great on my printers and for the price, I couldn’t say no. $12 per KG is awesome! It would have been nice to be able to pick some other colors, but I’m fine with black and white. Since I don’t use my FDM printers quite as much as I used to, 4 spools should last me a while. But, if they keep this pricing, Overture will probably be my go-to for the foreseeable future.

Overture the worst filament I've ever used
Bought this is metallic Grey for my bambu lab a1 and I have never had any issues with bed adhesion until I used this filament and it nearly destroyed my nozzle. The color was all wrong when printed it looked more bluish grey and while using this filament my failure rate went from 0% using bambu labs filament to 75% due to adhesion issues. Will not recommend to anyone. Cleaned my base plate as through as I could.

inn the picture it's black but in realty it's blue, so...? i have nothing to say any more.

Tried this on my A1. Worked well for printing model tires. 95a is fairly rigid but it prints great.
