From the manufacturer Venus, a timeless classic 18/10 steel body Constructed from 18/10 steel, it retains its luster and its original characteristics even after prolonged use. Patented safety valve Exclusive Bialetti patented safety valve, inspectable and easy to clean. Quality and elegance Premium finish and refurbished design for a coffee maker suitable for even the most elegant environments. The new boiler with wide thickness walls ensures safety and quality in the cup, the anti-scald handle is ergonomic and non-slip. Man's advice Select a quality mixture, suitable for making coffee for Moka. Fill the boiler to the lower level of the safety valve, without exceeding it and using fresh water, possibly poor in limestone. Fill the filter generously, without pressing the coffee powder, forming a small wedge and avoiding dust leakage on the boiler edges. Close the coffee maker, vigorously screwing the collector onto the boiler and place it on the stove. The flame must never wrap the coffee pot, but remain inside the bottom of the coffee machine, in order to allow an extraction in an appropriate time and not too quickly. As soon as you start to feel the typical Moka gurgling, the coffee is ready and you will need to immediately turn off the fire. **Q: Any coating on the inside of this coffee maker plz, top or bottom part?  (some reviews mentioned grey coating in the tank)**
A: Just received my order. Yes, there is a Teflon like coating but only in the bottom water chamber. In the collecting pot there is just stainless steel. I bought a Venus 4y ago and there was no Teflon coating in either chamber. I am struggling now to find a replacement stainless steel moka pot with no coating. I have tried several including John Lewis and others.

**Q: Can this be used on a gas hob? Or is it induction only?**
A: Yes - it works perfectly fine on my gas hob.

**Q: Can this be used on a standard ceramic hob or gas hob? Or is it induction only?**
A: Yes, I use it on my ceramic hob, and no problem! it works great!
