Very Hot~
I haven't really tried it while cramping, but have used it if a twinge was coming. It's like having hot tobacco in a race! I think it has more to do with the shock of the hotness than what it actually might do for cramps. I like to use Pickle Juice as well.

Whatever flavor they add can't hide the nasty taste-didn't really notice any difference as far as hydration either.Sorry-calling it like i saw it.

Foul taste
This was a stocking stuffer for my husband. He had a night time leg cramp. Grabbed this and the taste was so bad, he threw it away.
