Great for a double broiler setup!
First off I DO love the melting pot, it works really great with chocolate and even cheese so far! The handle and the pour spout helps you pour right into molds (or muffin cups in my case) very efficiently. The only thing I wish I had realized was the size in the description. By the look in the pictures I thought it would fit a 2 quart saucepan, unfortunately it is much much smaller than that. While the clip on the side DID hold it to my pan while I melted the chocolate, since it was a bit too big for the insert the handle on it got very hot. I definitely recommend this for an easy double broiler setup, but make sure you use it on a smaller pan such as a 1 quart saucepan. If you're like me and don't own one that small, just make sure to use pot holders to hold the handle when moving it.

This is a nice little stainless steel double boiler. The hand is sturdy and nice and long. I use this to melt soap and beeswax for essential oil projects and it has worked really well for that purpose. This during spouts on the sides work well. I have not had any issues with it it. It hasn't rusted, but I also am not a person who leaves things lying in water in the sink to soak for days either. Not what’s in the picture
This is not the one in the picture. This is cheaply made, though expected for the price. However, the one I received has a very ugly red plastic handle. My kitchen is an open kitchen and this does not match anything. Had I known I would have purchased else where. Unfortunately need it for a party this weekend otherwise would be going right back.

Love this little pot
I love this little pot. It's the perfect size for double-boiling when I'm making dark chocolate, and it's holding up very well.

Wonderful for was melting
This thing comes in really handy when making essential oil products. Wonderful for was melting. I suppose it would come in really handy for melting chocolate and things like that.
