Replacement for the one I used for 10 yrs
Great filter for ice tea. I normally buy the large plastic takeya sets of pitchers, but only 1-2 filters. Not only have I used these for 10+ yrs, I gift them to everyone Because I make 1-2 pitchers every day, they’ve had a great deal of use. I’m replacing one for the first time. They are well made, work very well and are easy to clean. If you enjoy iced tea- this is the one you want.

Works great
This is our second filter however this one is for tea and is different from the coffee filter. They both works great but I would stick to the coffee for coffee as the mesh is fine while the tea is a little thicker mesh. No matter what they are both made of quality and have lasted for us.

Very happy!
OMG, there are sooooo many infusion pitchers to choose from. I spent more time than I really wanted to finding the best one for me, but I'm glad I did because this one rocks. Mainly I was looking for one that didn't let pulp and seeds get into the water. This girl does NOT like floaties!!! And I'm happy to report that the strainer does its job. The only "con" is that the top is quite difficult to get off, at least for me. The workaround is easy though: you can unscrew the basket/filter and empty it that way. I also like the pour spout, as you just turn the handle to control the flow of water when pouring. I haven't tried it in the dishwasher but hand-washing it isn't super time consuming and it's been working fine. Definitely recommend!

I can make my own iced tea
For a long time now we have been boiling water in a pot and steeping the tea in for hours, then pouring it into a pitcher through a strainer to remove the leaves. I am unable to do the lifting and pouring myself so my husband has been making daily batches of tea for me to drink. I bought the Takeya pitcher at a local membership store, it came with an infuser that we never use, I was shopping for another item to make tea with when I came across this and bought it instead. I am happy to say that this has enabled me to make my own tea every day instead of depending on someone else to do it for me. I put tea in the infuser and boil water in the electric kettle to pour in the pitcher, hours later I have great tea that I have made myself. The infuser itself cleans easily and is easy to empty of wet tea leaves.

This is absolutely perfect for infusing bagged or loose tea
This is absolutely perfect for infusing bagged or loose tea, fruit or (if you were of a mind) socks or old undies into your drink of choice (hey, I don't judge kinks). The capacity of the infuser is astonishing and far greater than any ordinary usage as just a tea infuser would require, so the manufacturers were looking head at other possible uses. Easy to clean (the upper part unscrews from the lower part if you need to get in with a brush and clean the screen). The whole thing neatly screws into the underside of the cap of the Takeya Airtight 2 Qt Pitcher. I have rarely seen a simple, plastic kitchen component so well engineered and well-made.

Great system
I haven't needed it as the original is still working perfect. Bought in case it tore, but is really good quality.

Amazeballs for cold brew coffee!
Do yourself a favor and get this infuser already if you enjoy cold brew and already own the Takeya pitcher! I use this infuser in two 2 Quart pitchers in my fridge. Basically I'm infusing in one while drinking the other. By the time I kill one pitcher, the black goodness is ready in pitcher #2. Simply dispose the grounds, refill with fresh grounds, fill with water, repeat. As for the product, the micro mesh is really fine, and short of minor silt, no grounds end up in the coffee. It is a two piece affair, and the top screws into the lid of your pitcher; but honestly, you don't need to screw it in. It's tall enough that when you put the cap on, by way of simply twisting it on, the infuser gets a bit threaded on as well, essentially keeping the grounds out. Cleanup is easy by simply rinsing with warm water. I've been using mine for a few months now without seeing a need to take a soapy sponge to it. Get one now and save yourself $6 a cup buying from your local coffee shop!

Good quality. Keep away from your dog!
Works very well in the Takeya infusing bottle. I had to buy another one because my dog liked it, and the holder, very much!
