I love this sweet little Hawaiian alphabet book and the song we found on YouTube that goes with it. It’s very well written and the design is visually appealing. My 4 and 7 year olds enjoy it and I’d say it’s not too babyish for them, which is good to see. I’d definitely recommend this for anyone who loves Hawaii, the Hawaiian language, or just exposing their kids to another culture and language.

So happy to find this book and the YouTube video, my oldest learned this in preschool and then we moved away, but now the youngest asks for me to sing “ulu ulu” it every night at bedtime.

This is a great book for children to learn some Hawaiian words. It's very well done, you can tell they spent a lot of time developing the concept and creating the art. I would recommend this to anyone with kids... and there is a song that accompanies the book on the author's youtube which makes this even more interactive and engaging for the reader!
