Portmeirion Sophie Conran for - White Small Salad Bowl 24 cm

This is the smallest of the 3 sizes of the salad bowl collection. The white I received is less a bright white as it may appear in the pics but can be described maybe as off white or cream. It has a slight hint of very pale beige or yellow in it but will still blend well with other whites and colors. Maybe because of it’s smaller size it looks slightly more elliptical in shape than the larger ones. None of that takes away from the beauty or function and seems only to add to the thrown pottery look. It has beauty, the versatility of use in the oven, microwave, freezer and dishwasher. The sizes are all perfect and we use them all the time for everything. It is pictured in daylight near the celadon (light blueish-green) and again next to a white West Elm organic plate.

I was pleasantly surprised with the packaging for these bowls, each bowl came packaged in their own box. I used them for catering service. Not only appealing and stylish to look at but made of great quality. Well worth the money, I will definitely be ordering more as I need them.

This range of dishes are a delight. Such a lovely shape, looking elegant and inviting on the table. Easy to hold, making serving easy as well. A very welcome addition to my serving dishes.

I love the peices I've collected by Sophie Conran, My first was the butter dish. I love the shape they have a depth that brings out a feeling of emotion when I look at them I smile and feel happy!
