HON Torch Ergonomic Mid-Back Office Chair, Comfortable Fabric Seat Home Office Task Chair, Tilt-Tension Recline Control, 360 Rolling Swivel, Sculpted Fixed Arms

For the around 150 dollars I paid for this chair it's great. A ton of versatility great back and lumbar support breathable and easy to sit in. It has height adjust as well as lumbar adjustment. Amazing build quality and maneuverability for the price. All in all great value and I would highly reccomend especially if you can get it for the price I did.

I bought this chair back in 2019 and using it daily since while working from home. It works great and is very comfortable. It doesn't go up quite as high as some other chairs but it works perfectly for me (5'7" = 170 cm). Not sure if this changed since but if you're very tall, make sure to check the specs on this.The reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the padded armrests. It is a very nice feature. I have joint problems and resting my elbows comfortably is important (this is something I dislike in other chairs with hard plastic armrests). Unfortunately, the right armrest cracked after about 1.5 years of use. We fixed the crack as we could with some glue and epoxy but you can see in the picture now there is a second crack right in the middle. The crack edges are sharp, so the armrest is now very uncomfortable and scratchy. The left armrest (second picture) developed a "bump" but, thankfully, has not cracked.I would expect much more durability from an office chair, all materials included.

This is a great chair and goes together nice. There was only one issue I found and that is the metal brace that connects to the bottom part under the seat that comes up and around and holds the back support frame and pad had a design issue that tilted the back support forward. I have seen this kind of issue before when manufactures/ companies try to use the same metal parts for a number of different chair models - so they don't totally fit together correctly. I was able to fix this issue by adding two washer to two different screws that allowed the metal parts to align correctly - it added about an 1/8 inch of spacer to each one. Most people might not see this issues but I am a design engineer so things like this stand out to me. Be ready for some noise that comes from the chair seat when you first get off the seat pad. It kind of sounds like a bunch of plastic bags unfolding all at once. Its not crazy bad. The sound has now gone away after a few days but at first bothered me thinking it would always do that. I am sitting in this chair as I write this review. I really like the chair and it is worth the money big time. Thanks, Greg from Wisconsin

I want to point out how good this chair is, first of all, because it's seriously amazing for the price in comparison to others. The quality is certainly there, the adjustments and the amount of cushion on the seat make this a very comfortable chair for just about anyone.However, maybe not buy it from this distributor because my chair arrived in a box that was hardly a box anymore. The box had been completely covered in packing tape because it was handled so poorly that there were numerous holes and tears everywhere. I also discovered some trash as well as an empty water bottle tossed in the box for good measuer..thanks for that I guess? One of the bolts that secure the back to the chair was also very bent, which I had to fix in order to use.Also, the hardware that was sent in the box was incorrect. The bolts were WAY too big, the part number on the hardware didn't even come close to matching the chair number so I have no idea how they messed up that one. I guess reading is pretty hard at times for some...it's a good thing that I'm handy and had some spare bolts around to use while I wait for the correct hardware to come in...so yeah, a great chair marred by a lack of care from the distribution factory, maybe you'll get lucky and have a better experience than I had..hopefully..a great chair though nonetheless

I had this chair in office and it was so comfortable. Now that I am working from home I wanted the same chair so I ordered it and I get the same support and comfort. This allows me to focus on my job.

The chair itself is pretty nice but the packaging quality is just straight up garbage. I ordered one on April 16th first and it took them a while to ship and fulfill. I was pretty excited when it arrived, then I noticed how beat up the box was. The box itself is flimsy for something of this size and parts of the chair were poking through it easily so I took out my phone to be ready to take pictures. Sure enough a piece of broken lever was floating around in the box. All the pieces looked pretty beat up and scratched from the terrible packaging and poor choice of box. So I had to return it and give it another shot. Fast forward to April 30th finally got the replacement and to my horror.....SAME TERRIBLE packaging and holes in the box. Opened it up and this time no broken parts, but some obvious scratches. Just decided to put it together anyway don't feel like waiting and going through this again. Unfortunately the left arm rest is wobbly and makes a rattling noise -_- would've hoped that everything had worked out but so far this has been an ordeal. Now with time I hope this holds up

Well worth the money. I am both comfortable and happy about the purchase.

This chair is a nice upgrade from the previous desk chair that I used for about 20 years. It was really easy to assemble, in about 15 minutes. The chair is heavier than my last one and it was fun carrying it upstairs to my office. I think it will be there for a while.
