Question 1

Is there much difference between youth and adult size?

Accepted Answer

Hi,

Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. Yes there is a significant difference between the youth size and the adult size. Shock Doctor actually makes a cup in a teen size which is a size between the youth and adult and is blue in color. Younger kids will have an issue with the adult cup, and a full grown adult will not be protected with a youth cup. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.

Question 2

Would an xs work for an 8 year old ?

Accepted Answer

Hi,

Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. This would be the right size for an 8 year old. If it is the first time he has had to wear a cup, it is more the norm to have them say it is not real comfortable. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.

Question 3

My sons have the blue cups, but their sliding shorts don't have a big enough cup pocket. What sliding shorts brands can fit the blue cup?

Accepted Answer

Hello,

We are sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with your sons sliding shorts fitting our Bio-Flex cup. The majority of sliding short brands should accommodate our cup. If you are having issues in finding a proper fit, please contact our customer service department via email - amazon@unitedspb.com or call 800-233-6956 and we’ll gladly resolve these issues for you!

Question 4

Do the colors of the cups correspond to the size? My son has a red one and I want to get the next size up.

Accepted Answer

Hi,

Thanks for checking out an item we offer within our Amazon store. Yes the colors are all different sizes. The red cup is the youth size and this blue one, the teen size is the next size up and should work for your son if the red one is now too small. Let us know if you have any other questions. Thanks again.
