Well designed, durable, good fit.
If you're looking for a well-designed, durable Boonie with mounting loops and a map pocket, this is the one!This hat is a true Boonie, meaning that it's not made of that thin nylon material that sun hats are made of. The brim has a good width to it, providing a perfect balance of shade and stiffness (some boonies have small brims that don't provide enough shade and/or are flimsy).I measured my head, selected the appropriate size, and it fits beautifully.

Well-fitting, substantial, comfortable hat
Hat lives up to the description. It's light enough but not flimsy and the brim holds up (though I've not worn it in the rain-it may flop down). If I'd designed it myself, I'd put a reinforcing wire around the brim to hold its shape (But that's never been how boonie hats were ever made, far as I know.). Camo pattern is good. I'm satisfied-would buy again.

Great hat
Love the hat, this is not my first one. I wear them until they literally fall apart. That takes a few years. The previous hat had a piece of leather on the chin strap to cinch it down. I liked that. My new hat had a plastic clip. I would rather have the leather. That’s the only reason I knocked a star off.

Great fit!
I’ve gone through a bunch of hats that never really fit well. This hat is a perfect fit and very lightweight. Great for hiking as it folds up nicely in my pack. Highly recommend! In fact I’m buying another as a backup.

Worked in the jungle
Got this to keep the sun off of me for excursions in Mexico. Worked really well, and nice and cool. Dip it in water for even hotter days. Use it to mow now. Very happy with it

Nice hat
Fit very good. Quality for the price is where is should be. Keeps my head cool, and the sun off my face, eyes, and neck. Does what it’s suppose too, just looks a little Ridiculous on me.

Wide rim hat good for yard work.
The hat runs a little larger than marked. they said it would shrink to fit but honestly its just as cozy. The plastic slip not is nice but falls off if your not watching, I do miss the older style leather stops. its wider that the older hats which is nice cause i bought it for sun anyways. Overall a good hat for casual or paintball or whatever you use hats for nowadays.
