Original Backpack Soft Cooler

I haven't had a chance to fully load it up. Upon opening the package I did fill it with warm water as suggested, then filled it with ice packs and ice. I let it sit all evening and night until the next morning. BOOM! Ice was still there and ice packs were still frozen. I took it to the beach with just a few beers, sandwiches and snaks with temps in mid 80's They all lasted all day long and still with the ice that I packed the day before. The true test will come soon I have a Maimi, Florida Keys and Bimini Bahamas trip. Lets see how it survives in 90 degree heat. One thing I could see being a problem is the depth of a fully packed cooler. Trying to reach a specific drink since its so deep, but not a deal killer.My review of the back pack is its nice and sturdy. Feels good on my pack. Stands up on its own. Lots of lil pockets to keep all my lil gadgets, bottle opener, phones, charges, Burts Bees wax, etc. Here's to a long relationship with my new Polar Bear Cooler. May my drinks stay cold and my adventures continue.

I have used the backpack cooler on several campouts. I bought the cooler to keep my beer cold for a 24-48 hour window. It has not disappointed. Properly packed it can hold a case of beer with ice. You have to take your time loading it. I lay my beer cans horizontally 3-4 per row. Adding ice is a bit tricky. You have to open the mouth and work it down. The quality of the cooler is fantastic. The material is durable and well insulated. Kept upright it will not leak. The straps are comfortable and easy to sling on. In full disclosure a case of beer with ice is a bit heavy on the shoulders. Very easy to move from one place to another.

Packed with frozen steaks for 8 hour flight, worked great. Kept ice on a beach for hours. We will see how it holds up over time. Buying black maybe not best idea for direct beach sunlight. Holds a modest amount of food and drink.

I love this backpack cooler. It keeps ice over night (i let it sit for 14 hours) no problem. It doesn't leak at all. Much cheaper than the big brands like yeti.The only negative, as others said and I knew ahead of time, the opening is stiff and small, so dumping a bag of ice or whatever in it can be challenging. Worth it.

I bought this cooler for the specific purpose of transporting frozen breastmilk while traveling away from my baby and it wears perfect!It was great for a number of reasons: (1) it kept my breastmilk completely frozen - none of the milk thawed during the ~12 hours I was traveling (I packed the bag with frozen gel ice packs surrounding the milk) (2) it was small enough that the airline allowed it to be considered my “personal item” and I still could travel with a separate carry-on suitcase. (3) the backpack style made it easy to carry. (4) the exterior pockets were convenient for keeping my wallet, keys, phone, etc.Would highly recommend this cooler!

I bought my own, it wasn't given to me for an honest review. Over the years I've had a few different back pack coolers because I'm so hard on them. In and out of the truck, in and out of the boat time and time again puts a lot of strain on them. That's not even counting the time spent being lugged around on my back. This backpack cooler is no joke. I can fit 12 beers and plenty of ice with room to spare. No joke, I could probably fit 18 beers with some room for ice. The backpack it self is comfortable and adjustable. I probably have nearly 10 miles carrying it already and I have to say it's the most comfortable backpack cooler yet. I'm very satisfied with this product and would spend 100$ on it again if I had to.

Way to tight and small to fit much in, yet its somewhat bulky and heavy for what it is. We tried all the stretching techniques I saw in the reviews but it went right back into its tight difficult to use shape. We found that it also did not keep items cold as long as promised. The concept is great, but its actual functionality is less than ideal. I would not order it again.

We go to the St John twice a year which involves many beach trips. Hauling beach chairs,floats,coolers etc is not fun.A combination ice chest/backpack is just what we needed.Frees up a hand and is very comfortable.Similar back pack coolers get wet or drip. This one stays nice and dry on the outside and keeps ice intact for quite some time although the 100 degree/24 hour claim might be stretching it a bit. Also used this as my carry on luggage. It is so thick, I put Ipads, headphones and chargers and had plenty of room for t shirts and other items. If you want a heavy duty ice chest/back pack, pay a few dollars more and don't skimp by buying a cheaper one. This thing will last and you will forget that you paid a little more for the best one out there.

Had this bag for over 3 years now, and always leave it in the car. Never know what I'm going to buy when I go grocery shopping. The bag get used a lot, and I still have no issues with it. Built to last and keep everything inside COLD. Expensive, but worth every penny.

We loved it. We used it for our week in Disney World to keep drinks cool and food cool so we did not have to buy over-inflated price at Disney world. It was easy to carry of course since it is a backpack, and able to fit under seat. While travelling we kept our laptop in it so it had double function. Love it !Note: I love it also because I bought it on sale for $99.99 CDN - if I were you, I would wait for it as I would not pay 150 for it nor would I spend 300 plus for a soft Yeti cooler - the cost per use was not worth the price.

Love it! It keeps food cold for hours even in scorching heat. Very comfortable design. I love the fact that it's a backpack and I can have both of my hands free. Very satisfied with this product.
