These are great shorts if you're looking for a pair of all cotton comfortable sleeping shorts. I think they would work great for men but also my wife would love these as well as they are comfortable not too long and not too short. The elastic band is very loose and comfortable so that you can get a comfortable fit without being too squeezed. There is a drawstring which I just tied in a double bow so that I don't have to deal with it. It can be removed if needed but I leave it on. I think at the price of these shorts you will be very satisfied and they'll definitely be very comfortable for you. They do have two pockets. The last thing I would say is that they are well made and should last for a while.
