Would this work for dough other than pizza? What about pie crust, or cinnamon roll dough? biscuits?

This isn't easy to use. Dough springs back to almost its original size. Lifts off table. Unit scratches table since no rubber feet. I think a larger unit with heated plates would work better.

Does the doe have to be warm before pressing

While it will work more effectively warm, no, the dough does not need to be warm to use it.

Would this work to warm a tortilla so that it is more malleable for a burrito?
