SuperCarver 1000mW USB DIY Laser Engraver Printer Mini Art Craft Science Industry Laser Engraving Cutting Machine

I bought this not knowing what to expect. I figured it might be junk and I had set my expectation low. I was so wrong. This device is great! it took less than 5 minutes to do what it said it would do. The software is a bit clunky but reliable, not a single crash. I have put about 50 items through it and am amazed at the power and speed at which it works. My only suggestion is that you get a mask to protect yourself from the smoke fumes. The integrated fan will get the fumes out of the cutting area but then they just float up so be careful. The case is solid and the product is well packed when it arrives. So far I have engraved, wood, paper, and plastic. What an amazing little device. The tray has rubber bands to keep things in place but if you put some rubber mat down it seems to work just as well.

I really really wanted this machine to work. However, engraves great on one job then engraving the exact same yields a different result. Some of the image is missing. Tried using native app and importing images from MS Paint like others suggested. The listing is for 1000mw, but the manual says 500mw witch is one half watt? Which is it? I wish there has a better unit for $200-300 that was stable. I gave it two stars because it seems to be build sturdy for what it is and the price. That being said the device has to work consistently. This one does not

I was super excited to geek out on this super Carver. My main goal was to print business cards on wood veneer. It says its max working area is 3.9x2.3" inches. This is a lie, the max working space is 1.5x1.5"!! worthless in my endeavor but cool to play with this technology. you get what you pay for but they defiantly exaggerate this products features.

This is a big piece of crap. It burns just fine, but it will not burn the image you want. It overlaps the image on top of itself. I could not get one single image to work correctly.

Doesn't really do much, wasted the money on trying it. Can only actually cut in a very small like one inch by one inch and only small chips of wood.

This product does an amazing job when you look at it compared to the cost of the machine. If you expect more for 125 than you are just one of those people that will never be happy no matter what the situation is. I've read other reviews regarding the slow speed; I'm not experiencing that at all. I imagine the processing speed of the computer plays a role in data transfer rate. I also am using one of the lighting or super fast (whatever they are called) usb cables.My opinion is to not write this off based on a few people that said they have had issues. If you do expierence the slowness, try upgrading your hardware (even just the usb cord) and I bet you will see a difference.This engraver would work great for any hobbyist/scrapbooker/etc. I use it to add my logo to wooden products that I make/sell at my barbershop. It gives the items I sell a little added touch that helps justify the prices I charge!

Very simple to use and understand. It is not commercial grade equipment, but a great entry level engraver.

Poor quality on wood.
