Smoother shifting , less vibration and noise. Easy to install.
This worked well. Wasn't having an issue per say, but this decreases the vibrations running up to the shifter column and makes it smoother to change gears. Make sure you dab some all purpose grease onto the portuding knob that this product goes over. You are supposed to do that, and it will make the bushing last. Also zand down the knob and clean it off. Rust will make this expensive bushing fail.I would give this 5 stars, however gram for gram this may he the most expensive thing I've ever bought.I am going to see if I can fashion something myself next time. A drop of polyurethane would do the trick probably.

Very good instructions
Very easy to install. I'm an amateur in regards to car work and it took me all of 10 minutes to complete the task.

Hopefully they get yours right
Having purchased the product on Amazon I installed the first bushing. It was quick and as easy as everyone says it is. Then the truck immediately wouldn't shift as it always has, even as a 21 year old work truck..I contacted the company and I was told I got a defective one and they would send me out another one. Which they did. Same problem reoccurred immediately. Got back in touch with the rep via email and she said they just completed manufacturing a new batch and she would send another one right out. Which they did. Same problem again, 3rd time around.I got back in touch with her one last time and told her I was putting my old 21-year-old bushings back in. She immediately issued me a refund but couldn't offer me any reason why her bushings weren't working for me. My original equipment 21-year-old bushings are in place to this day and seem to be working just fine.I have to say from a customer service standpoint they were responsive but personally I would want to know why my product wasn't working the way it was designed to for any given customer.Comparing the two side by side The "ridges" or "teeth" of the replacement parts clearly are not as long as the factory part.Bottom line don't be surprised if you're a replacement parts don't function as they should.I guess there's something to be said for if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Fixed my transmission problem.
It worked far as the bushing and the clip that came with it. But the clip didn't have the grooves on the sides to hold the heat shield on. So I just used the old clip. My Ford Explorer started not going into gear, without going Past (D) and back to (D) to get it in gear. It also started slipping a bit while I was having this problem. THE BUSHING FIXED IT RIGHT UP. My emergency brakes was not working and I was fishing a lot with my boat, without hand brakes. I believe me having to pull it in and out of park on the boat ramps is what messed it up!!! It was a big strain on the bushing and the cable. I fixed my park brakes the same day I fixed the bushings. So I am very happy that's all it was wrong with my transmission.

Easy Peezy
Bought it for my 2003 Ford F-350Didn’t even take me more than 3 minutes to install. Kinda pricey for $32 plus tax. For those who say that their was defective. Look in my last pic all you have to do is push that piece more to you hear a click, because when you go to change gears it pulls back and won’t get stuck to holder.
