Did the trick at a great price!
This was just what the doctor ordered! So glad I found this on Amazon! I connected my monitor and plugged the usb-c end into my Mac Studio and presto - two displays! And I didn't even have to install any software! About to purchase one or two more for future use! The picture quality is excellent and I love the sleek, fashionable design (using it on a station that has the cables exposed)!

Good product, but not for what I needed it for.
I bought this to use with my 21" screen while I do some freelance writing from home. Looking at the smaller screen on my laptop gives me eyestrain after a while. I've had a good experience with Amazon branded products so far, and the price was right. But when I got it, it did not work for my laptop. It worked in a smaller, otherwise broken laptop, but not for what I needed. Bummer.I'm super broke, so I almost return it when I ordered the right adapter. But I ended up keeping it anyway. It does work great on my phone and other laptop. I'm sure it might to have around. Just be mindful it might not work for your particular device. Check it out before you purchase, if you can. The connector itself seems sleek and sturdy.

Works with Chrome book
I tried to connect my old Sony monitor to my smart phone but it did not work.However Chrome book work well with this adapter.
