Ecco Bella Botanicals Flowercolor powder Eyeliner Mystic, 0.06 oz

Looks Great,
This is a beautiful blue eye shadow. I first line my eyes with black eyeliner, then smudge this over it to soften the black & to add a little pop of color (I don't add it to my lower lids). I try to only use natural beauty products & have been using Eco Bella for over 20 years. I stopped when I found products that rated better on EWG's Skin Deep Data Base. However, Eco Bella seems to have cleaned up their act, as their rating on EWG has greatly improved. Their mascara & Organic Wear's mascara are two of my favorites. I have also used blush & a nice highlighting powder by Eco Bella with excellent results.Note: This is just a refill. That means it's a small little cake. It doesn't come in a case. It does come with a cheap little brush. You need to order a case. By selling refills, it helps to cut down on waste which is a huge plus. Their refills are packaged in tight fitting cardboard sleeves. You can use the refills without a case if you wish, you just have to be a little bit more careful with them.Overall, I am more than pleased.

Beautiful Blue Powder eyeliner
I love blue eyeliner, but often times liquid ones make my eyes react and water. This shade of blue, Mystic, is lovely. Dark, hint of shimmer, and goes great with my skin tone and eye color. However, it's not very pigmented. When used dry it's basically just a sheer wash of blue eyeshadow. When used wet with a brush, I get great coverage, no irritation and a line that will last throughout most of the day without fading. However, you do have to use this with a primer. It will fade super fast without. While I don't have any irritation, and it's easy to use, I'm not sure that the price point is worth the .12oz (half pan) refill. I like that it's natural, that it doesn't cause a reaction, but I don't have time to reapply and seem to be going through it rather quickly. All in all? Worth a try if you are sensitive and willing to put in a little work.

For me, used as light eye shadow.
I have a few Ecco Bella products (lipstick, blush) that are quite nice for the rest of my face, so thought I'd try this little eyeliner refill for the enhancement of the eyes. Because my eyes are super sensitive to anything applied at the eye or on the lashes, I will occasionally use a shadow on the upper lid. I'd seen this listed for quite a while but saw it was an eyeliner which wouldn't work for me. Well, I'm wearing it today as a shadow and it looks fine with just a hint of color. I only needed one swoop with the dry sponge and that was enough color for me. The wet sponge probably would create a darker look. This product like the other Ecco Bellas is made using natural and safe ingredients. This one uses green tea extract, sweet almond oil, mica, flower wax, and a few more. My very old blue shadow that this replaced has been tossed!

Very Sheer
Biggest Daughter's thoughts:As someone with sensitive eyes, I'm always on the lookout for a good, talc-free eyeshadow, especially ones with bright, fun colors. I saw Mystic up for review and had to try it.On the whole, I'm pretty disappointed. Applying with a brush, which is my usual method, it takes quite a bit of building to even see it, and when I applied with my fingers, it wasn't much better. It also wasn't very blendable. I did like that there's very little fallout, and I think that the pan will last me a while, even with semi-consistent use.If you like a sheer eyeshadow, it's not bad. I just wanted some more color out of it, and nearly $15 for just one pan is more than I would typically spend on makeup, so I was expecting more out of it.

Eye Shadow that I do not react to! Magnetic Refill, to go in a handy Dandy Magnetic Pallet!
Eye Shadow that I do not react to! Magnetic Refill, to go in a handy Dandy Magnetic Pallet!Comes with a cheesy sponge, works SOOOO much better with a Brush! Blends Well! Also works well, wet, with a little rose water. On my skin, if I do not use a Primer, it fades quicker, Into a Nice pastel Purple. That is super cool, since usually react to purples. When I used a primer, it was darker and worked well with a Smokey Eye!The one photo is of how it it works in a magnetic pallet, the second photo is how it fades, on me, without a primer.Interesting to note, certain medications can cause colors to fade and change colors on certain people.
