My granddaughters (6 & 7 yrs old) have asked to learn to sew, this was the perfect kit. Quality fabric all supplies included. Easy to understand directions.

We recently brought this kit on an extended-family trip with 4 families. I had all the kids pick out an animal and I either helped them put it together or I offered to make the stuffy for them (especially the really little ones.) They were a HUGE hit. It kept the kids busy for a couple afternoons and everyone had fun. I had ages 4-10 assembling them with me, and I sewed the ones for the younger ones. The little stuffies that my two kids made were what they chose to bring on the first day of school this fall to share about the best parts of their summer break. So sweet!! As for quality, I will say the parts that you stick on with the peel-back adhesive parts stick pretty well. I was surprised. They're not super duper snuggly, but they look adorable and it didn't bother any of the kids at all. The edges are a bit scruffy. The assembly was extremely easy, and the booklet had great instructions with pictures.

I bought this for my niece who’s 10, and for my twin nephews who are 7. We had so much fun doing this! They definitely needed help figuring out the stitches, the instructions have only pictures and no words. Fun little project and they absolutely love the end results! Just have to do a little supervision.

Pricey for what you get but clear instructions easy to work with the stuffies are very cute and my 8 yr old was "seeing" in no time. I like that the needles are large plastic and not sharp on the end for safety. The pet variety is something she loves about the kit too.

This is a great activity. I bought it for a 9yo. I did the first one with her and she had it from there. The pieces are precut and holes in place. Everything is separated for each different animal. Hours of entertainment and she enjoyed giving some away to her friends.

Older kids and adults can do this . But , live the tiny animals !

Two of my granddaughters want to learn to sew but l don’t think they are ready, yet. So l decided to try this sewing kit. It is very basic but good for young children to start with. They love sewing the animals together and stuffing them. The animal characters are cute. The sewing “needles” are kid friendly, they are a good size, plastic, with a blunt tip; perfect for kids.
