600W High Power Voltage Reducer DC 48V 60V 72V Step Down to DC 12V 50A | Buck Converter Waterproof Module Car Truck Power Regulator Transformer

I was in the process of building a new golf cart and needed a converter for lights and sound, this thing rocks and has 50 amps, I also like that it has a built in relay so it powers off with the golf cart. Just make sure you remove the little jumper wire.

I bought this product for my bus conversion. It is fed from a 48V LiFePO4 battery and seems to be able to consistently hold around 12.25V output whether the battery is at 45V or 58V. I have never stressed this device to know if it can actually deliver 600w, but I have drawn probably 100w to 150w with no issues. So far so good.

Went from 48 volt to two 6 volt golf cart batteries in series (in my rv) and this lasted about 20 days before overheating, popping both fuses, tripping my internal DC breakers, and also started melting (dripping out the bottom).All wire sizes were good (6g coper wire) and short runs....Granit my RV pulls some DC loads with the main ceiling lights, fridge controls and others but i've run them all at once waiting for it to blow prior and nothing. This AM i turn on the ceiling lights -boom - melts..no idea...

Really wanted to like this dc to dc converter unfortunately this unit lacks a adjustment for output power was running at 11.6v and with loads was in the mid 10 volt range had to return

I was able to produce a consistent 12 volts from a 52V ebike battery. Voltage sags a bit under load but not much. I hooked it up to a 12V trolling motor and it ran it very well.First off, the converter is rated at 50A but comes fused at 40A - ??? How could it possibly produce 50A?At motor level 1-4 I saw very good performance. Efficiency was around 95%. Heat was minimal. However when I put the motor to Level 5 I saw 400W coming off the ebike battery with only 246W getting to the motor. Efficiency of only 61%. Heat was increased. (In my setup, the converter was in a waterproof case so it was not properly ventilated.)The unit is nicely manufactured. The case is one large aluminum heat sink so heat dissipation should be very good.I think if you use this item at less than the stated load you will be pretty happy with it.

This unit survived full time lite duty usage for approximately 1 month and just died. The unit was supplied a steady voltage and was only asked to output 1-2 amps continuously with occasionally asking it to putout a max draw of 20-30 amps for 30 seconds max. Will update this review depending on how the company handles the warranty as its just outside of Amazons return window.

Less than two weeks the first one blew up. Ordered a second one as wiring has been done specifically for this one. Hopefully lasts longer. Started smoking.
