The watch is fabulous with all its features but what triggers me is that the green plastic part looks good in some lighting and with some clothes while looking terrible in others. But so far I love this more than I hate this. The features are solid!

This Casio watch is known as the Casio Royalle, a reference to the original James Bond movie with Roger Moore (not my fav Bond movie, the remake with Daniel Craig). This watch was based on a much pricier Seiko watch worn by Moore on that classic Bond movie. In any case, this watch is simply stunning and for under 50 bucks, it is hard to beat. It is a digital, illuminated watch with a metal band, so it looks fancier than its price point. I have been wearing it at some places I normally go to and have received multiple compliments. First off, unless you are a real active traveler, I STRONGLY suggest you set all “world clock” mides to your own timezone. Why? Because if you accidentally change the time to World Clock, you will not accidentally get the wrong time. Second, make good use of the watch features, especially the countdown timer. It is very helpful to set timer reminder for say 5mins when say playing an iPad game or walking around the store near closing time, so you can stay on top of your trip before store closes. Prevents losing track of time. Third, LOOK at the watch. It is stunning and looks way more expensive than what it is. The metal band is easy to remove links on, with a small screwdriver and watching a tutorial on YT. Takes less than 5 minutes to remove a link or two, but be sure to remove 1 link from each end at a time, so that the watch stays centered on your wrist. The watch is readable perfectly outside in bright sunlight, and if you have any trouble, simply make a circle with your hand and place over the screen to see. It is also 100% waterproof to 100m, so you can shower with it and wash it with soap and water when needed. I am one of these that without a watch, I lose track of time in the shower, so a waterproof watch is a must. The band is 100% stainless steel and looks very high end due to its metallic look for sure. The clasp has a squeeze mechanism which prevents “snag snaps”, meaning if you snack the clasp and it gets pulled, it will NOT just pop open, which is nice. Finally, the illuminator light worked to 100% readability in pitch black conditions. I am attaching a quick video overview of this watch because I really like it and I am quite happy with it.

Como digo en mi título, el reloj es espectacular, las fotografías no le hacen justicia, en estas se ve un reloj muy bonito y recuerda a los AE-20 o AE-220, pero una vez que lo tienes en la mano es un poquito mas grande, para mi tiene el tamaño justo, ni es tan grande como G-Shock ni pequeño como los AE-2xx antiguos, da la sensación de ser un gran reloj, aunque la caja de resina pintada no me gusta, es un gran fallo para un reloj perfecto y muy bonito, a medio camino entre lo vintage y un reloj digital elegante, una caja de acero habría sido genial. Acortar la cadena ha sido bastante fácil, mas que por ejemplo en el DBC-32D que fue un suplicio para mi, yo lo he hecho con un punzón busca polos de electricidad. Lo he comprado porque me recuerda a un Seiko que salia en una antigua película de 007, y una vez lo he tenido me reafirmo, es lo mas parecido al reloj de mi personaje favorito, sin pagar una cifra astronómica por un reloj de segunda mano vintage, lo malo, repito, es la caja de resina pintada. Recomiendo su compra como la de cualquier Casio. Aunque no lo he usado en el día a día todavía, como "Casioista" que soy sé que no me va a decepcionar, y tiene lo que me gusta de un reloj, 5 alarmas, crono, temporizador, hora mundial.., aunque luego no lo use, y lo mejor, pila de 10 años. Un clasico retro. Reloj liviano, comodo, con varias franjas horarias a elegir, y alarmas. Funciona perfectamente y parece original.
