I spent many months calling about Faberware because I wanted to know if they are 18/0 - meaning no nickel - but the people I spoke to did not know for sure. All the answers were contradicting and no one seemed to know the accurate information. They usde to be made in USA and it was easier to get answers. It is confusing because on some of the Faberware packages read 18/0 and the description on the internet reads 18/10 - I tried to find out the true information, but came up empty handed. There is no answer unless someone else tried to find out if there is nickel or not in these pots and can enlighten us. **Q: Where is this product made ?** A: I beleive the metels are from China,but at this point just about everything is made in China,this product at one time was made here in the states,but like everything else most of our products are from China,thanks to all our great corporations that don't make enough money here they sent most of it to China, Mexico and were ever else they can get something made for such cheap labor,but all in all it did turn out to be so far a pretty good product,I would recomend it,it still has a very good name ,Farberware has been around a very long time,we still have a few pots from 30 years ago that are still working for us,my wife refuses to get rid of them,so at this point the price was right,the product is good,I say go for it. **Q: As is the thickness of the sheet and 18/10 stainless steel** A: Dear Carlos,Thank you for your inquiry.All of our 18/0 stainless steel cookware is suitable for induction cooking. 18/0= 0 % nickel content18/8= 8% nickel content18/10= 10% nickel contentThe "18" stands for the chromium content, which is the same for all stainless steel.
