Canoni-Sensys FAXL150 Laser Fax Machine

We bought this as a replacement for an old Panasonic Fax machine that had worked reliably for years, but eventually the feeder began to fail. The Canon FAXL150 is an inexpensive, well finished machine with good features. However it is very unreliable at sending and receiving faxes, I would say you have about a 30% chance of success based on two months daily use. We have had numerous messages from other people saying that they can't send us faxes and asking us to check if our machine is working, when it is clearly switched on, connected to the line and filled with paper.
