This book is to give you the overview of his theory so that readers can get the big picture of it. IMHO, it is better to open this book after you've gone through his The Goal at least, but it's not a prerequisite. Review: J'ai acheté ce livre après avoir lu "Le But" (The Goal), en espérant d'y trouver un guide pratique sur l'implémentation de la théorie des contraintes. Grave erreur ! Ce livre n'est plus qu'une publicité pour "Le But" et un pitch pour les prestations de Mr Goldratt en tant que consultant. De ce fait, malgré certains éclairages intéressants, ce livre ne dit finalement pas comment la TOC "should be implemented" sur un plan pratique. Je n'ai rien contre la démarche d'avant-vente, je pense tout simplement que c'est à l'intéressé de la payer, et pas au client. Non ?
