Any way to get smaller than 1.5mm guide comb?

My experience with this product was very limited. It did not work for me, but I do not believe it comes with a comb smaller than the 1.5mm.

Can i use these to give my Maltese a haircut?

I don’t think so, you can find lots of special animal hair cutting machines in Amazon. I think it’s better to not to try this on your pet.

How sharp is it? Does it get hot?

Very sharp. Hasn't cut me. Doesn't get hot in hand or on head. Very great clippers.
