Finding Out (Hawks MC Club) Paperback – Large Print, December 16, 2014

This book is cute and simple, and way too short.It was too short, and if you read the rest of the review, I hope you can see where if the book had everything it is lacking, the book would naturally be longer and more enjoyable. This book was rushed. Although the characters were cute to read and enjoyable, it could have been so much more.The plot was barely enough to carry the story along, and the conflict between the FMC’s family (that was drawn out and seemingly a big thing) only happened at the last 90% of the book and was only a few measly paragraphs.It was also insta-love, with too completely different characters falling in love in a unrealistic way. Their personalities were not consistent, besides a few obvious main traits that make them unique (gruffness and chatterbox). So what I mean by inconsistent is that FMC is insistent that she does not get with guys on the first date, that she is organized and goal oriented enough to run her own business, that she has risen above her past... but she hasn’t. Her personality shows no connection to her past.. like being unloved, disliked and emotionally abused all her life has not affected her in the slightest. That is, until she faced her family and her personality took a 180. She became quiet and opposite to everything she is. It wasn’t until Fox said anything that she became self assured and strong and seemingly able to “rise above” her family. Yes, I realize this is contradicting, but for her whole personality to flip so quickly doesn’t make sense and it all happens within a few paragraphs.Lastly, the book was shown and told in a disorganized way that disrupted the smoothness the book could have had. One minute it is being shown, then the scene ends and a day passed. All of the internal monologue of emotions (the “falling in love” aspect. The thought process of it) was missing or summarized by lila rose telling it.While I like enjoyed lila rose’s other books (at least the ones I have read so far) this one was disappointing.

This is one of those series where you can't wait to find the next one in line! The characters really carry this series. Some of the scenes are a little overly played, such as in this book where the heroine is supposedly kept in the hospital for more than 4 or 5 days for a cut on her neck - a cut that only took 11 stitches to close up! Even if a major artery had been hit, if she survived and the cut only required 11 stitches, then blood loss would be the biggest issue. And that would most likely be solved with blood donation and plasma! But why let something as mundane as logic spoil a good story! Lol! If there is a downside to this and the other books in this series, it's that they seen to have a formula being used. All of the women are feisty, but insecure; they all get kidnapped or grabbed by bad guys and are rescued by their biker guys and or their biker brothers; and the heroes are all gorgeous but also insecure due mostly to their dark and troubled pasts. But, of course, Love conquers all! Throw in some hot and steamy sex scenes and you have something that goes well with a glass of wine and some alone time! Preferably in a bubble bath! Lol!

Ivy needs a date for a obnoxious cousin's wedding she meets Fox aka Killer on a dating web site Fox was on due to a bet with his fellow biker brothers. After meeting the beautiful, intriguing Ivy on a coffee date Fox is taken with her as she him therefore their love story begans. I haven't laugh so hard at another story in a long time. I just wanted to take Ivy and her attitude and words and put them in my pocket and hug them to me!This book will make anyone feel so glad they picked it up and read it. Another hit for Lila Rose, short but oh so sweet!

It is seriously impossible to pick a favorite couple in this series!They are all just so incredible in their own way and Ivy and Fox are no different.Even a short, fast moving story was more than I had anticipated. I LOVE Ivy! She is so cute and funny and has that naughty side to her that just makes you want to know more.Fox aka Killer knew exactly what he was getting with her and I love how quickly he moved once he met her. Her rambling and cuteness was endearing and he didn't hesitate to make her his.I LOVED THIS BOOK!!This is the perfect book to get your quick fix of the Hawks MC when you need it most.And even though it is a novella, you get all the action and suspense you can expect from Lila Rose. And as always, the Hawks leave you satisfied with the outcome. It doesn't matter how fast things move, once you are in the fold, you are a part of them and that comes with all the love and protection they can provide.I am so excited for more... Stoke is going to be amazing!!5 stars! Always 5 stars for these amazing characters!!

Although this is a novella rather than a full length novel it is still just as amazing all a full length story! I love Fox and Ivy and their relationship and can I say I wish that a man like Fox lost a bet and had to be online dating with myself! That being said I loved the storyline and how it played out between the two of them as well as the introduction of new characters. I love Lila Rose’s writing as well and I always look forward to her stories! Fox/Killer & Ivy's story:Fox looses a bet and has to join a dating site and go on one date. Ivy needs a date for her b***h of a cousins wedding. They meet and of goes the story!Fox is the silent but deadly type, Ivy is a chatter box - she rambles something shocking when nervous....funny as! And she's not exactly appropriate with some of the things she says!!With this, opposites definitely attract!The only downfall is that it's a novella and not a full length book 😟 Ivy and Fox, along with Lilas style of writing leaves you wanting more no matter how long the book!!

This is a well written fast paced story which is an intriguing and entertaining little story. I was completely enthralled throughout this addictive page turner and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all OF lovers.

Fantastic and in keeping with the series. I agree it could have been a full length novel and would have been fantastic I loved it. I also understand it isn't to everyone standards that they don't like chin lifting ringing alphas but by gosh I do and I'd be happy with any of these men there all pure male. Great story I definitely recommend but you need to read the other two first in the series to appreciate it

I really liked this book. I loved the storyline and the characters. The humor was awesome, I found Ivy's dialogue hilarious. However, there were parts I found a little rushed and there were a scene in this story that just wasn't for me, but overall it was a very enjoyable story!
