Good quality Image. Great all round camera.
I bought this to work with Samsung Smartthings app and it does. Easy to set up in the app and to use afterward. You can also control the direction of the camera from the app. It also provides motion detection and short playback functionality.

No UK plug
Works with SmartThings geofencing to activate/deactivate motion sensingThe only issue is that it doesn't come with a UK plug so you need a USB wall plug

Excellent integration with the Smart Things/Aeotec Platform
I bought this brand and model of camera because there is native integration with the Smart Things app and with my SmartThings Hub v2. The integration is pretty seamless, although I would've liked if the picture shown for the preview was an actual live image, and not a past image.Picture quality is solid for the size, and night vision is really nice. The option to mount on the ceiling is brilliant and definitely gives a much greater field of view than putting on a high shelf, in my living situation. Mounting on ceiling was far easier than expected. There is a slight lag between adjusting the camera angle on the app, and the camera responding. But I've got used to it over time. And the vertical and horizontal lens range is also solid for the size, and slightly makes up for the above.Motion detection is pretty much instant. Whenever I tested it it detected motion within just a few seconds. Although I don't personally use this feature on a daily basis,

Great Camera but Took Some Effort to Set Up.
Our house has been using Smartthings to control lighting and heating for years and more recently we installed a Samsung TV which we did not realise also has Smarthtings built in. We also wanted to simplify the camera we use for security (we have had one break in) by adding it to Smrtthings rather than need a separate system. We also have Alexa able to control Smarthtings so rather tag open the Smarting app we normally use Alexa commands such as "Turn on dining room".The camera was very easy to add to Smartthings and produces a really high quality picture. It did however take a little head scratching to get it setup to work in a practical way. The camera reacts to movement and then takes a 10 second recording. The snag is that if at the end of recording there is still movement it takes another recording, and another, and another so the phone has pages and no obvious way to delete them.Recordings delete after 24 hours so if there is something recorded that is wanted it is important to check and save before time runs out. The answer we came up with was for Smrtthings to check the location of our phones and only turn on the camera if both were away from our home. The only snag now is that if we come home and find we have been burgled and it was more than 24 hours back any recording will be gone. Smartthings can be set to notify if there is a "hit" so important to have this working if away for a while. The only minor point now is that we have a ceiling fan so if we leave that running when we are away it constantly triggers recording.I think it is still worth four stars as the recordings are very high quality and the cameras ability to follow movement is good. We also found that as we can run Smarthtings on the Samsung TV we can, if needed, get a really high quality 65 inch picture.I guess the main thing to think about before ordering is ability to get the camera set up with the Smartthings app. I have been using the app for years and it still took a little while to get everything working as required.

Reasonable but not perfect.
Firstly- the item arrived (in the UK) without a UK power plug. (Just the 'continental' 2-pin plug for the USB cable.) It connects to and registers with SmartThings with no problems. The user guide is not too good. Agreed, it is mainly a SmartThings App problem, but then the item is a SmartThings device and should therefore have full instructions on how to use the app. The camera (or is it the app) is prone to freeze. I have had to switch off a couple of times and reboot to get it responsive again. When operational, the picture quality is good and the motion detection works well too. So it loses 2 stars. 'Could be better' sums it up.

Works great with SmartThings
Works great with my smartthings. Both me and my wife can access the cam from our Samsung phones. Could still use a little more tweaking but overall good to use with smartthings

Reasonably easy to install. Picture is very clear. however I don't know how to change the default position and can't find the answer in the manual.

Passable
One of the few UK cameras compatible with Smartthings. Integrated well with the app and can be used with Smartthings automations. It has free 24 hour online storage, but sadly clips are limited to 10 seconds and as a result frequently actually missed the important action. I've been unable to find any option to subscribe to get longer clips or storage times, despite it describing me as being on the "Basic Plan". No SD card storage to compensate either.Movement of the camera is also very slow compared to some cameras at similar or lower prices. The audio sensing is very poor. As I write this I have the TV on and the camera is looking the other way entirely. Movement detection also seems less than stellar, again sometimes looking in the completely wrong direction.I'm not sure the Smartthings compatibility is enough to compensate for the poor clip length and camera performance so if you can live without that we look elsewhere.
